1 out of 5 eggsNot sweat proof

Pros: sound good, but do not wear to gym or sweat in them.

Cons: These are not sweatproof. Mine failed after 9 uses. Disregard my other review that gave this 5 eggs.

Other Thoughts: No where on packaging or on Philips website do they say these are sweatproof. I had to return mine to new egg after only 9 uses because they would not even turn on anymore. I was very happy with these but not being sweatproof like advertised they do not fit my needs.

2 out of 5 eggsOK at Shellshocker cost

Pros: Good fit.
Seem to be well made.
Shell Shocker price of $28 was cheap.

Cons: About 10% of the time they pause for a second. Can't tell if it's related to battery level, phone movement or button issue. Frustrating. Doesn't appear to be related to my head movement. They can be fine for 30min and then they start pausing every 5-10 seconds. Maddening.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Worth $10

Pros: Cant really think of any

Cons: Short battery life. Short bluetooth range.

Other Thoughts: I got them cheap so I can just toss them. Glad I didn't pay full price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the gym

Pros: These are one of the few stereo bluetooth headphones out there at a decent price that are sweat proof. I had the plantronics 903 headset and they are not sweat proof and got messed up the first time I wore them to the gym.
The sound quality of these is very good for music. The bass stays tight and highs are crisp. Although the packaging did not say I think these use Philips virtual surround technology. I have a wired Philips headset with the virtual surround and the same effect can be heard with these. These go in your ear canal so the right ear piece is a must. They give you three sizes with these to try. Also because they are in the ear canal they block outside noise very well. I like this because it blocks the house music at the gym and also the banging of people dropping weights.

Cons: They are alright for phone calls but there is an echo effect (virtual surround?) that reminds me of talking to someone in the bathroom. Also people I have spoke with say that it sounds like I am far away from the phone.

Other Thoughts: Once these are adjusted in they fit me perfectly and I can hardly feel them being on. Everyone's head is different so try the other ear pieces and play with them a little. But still they may not fit you correctly.
If I did not need a pair of sweat proof bluetooth for the gym and only wanted one to talk with the plantronics is much better. But for music quality and and gym use go with these.
The complaints about these not being loud enough must be from people that do not have experience with blue tooth headsets. None of them are as loud as a wired set. These ones are plenty loud, I keep my iphone 4 turned up full and these only have to be up about a quarter of the way. When you do turn them up full they are clear all the way up even at full volume.

5 out of 5 eggsLove em

Pros: Sound quality is good for music. Fit well on my ears and can me be adjusted for smaller ears. Haven't cut out once while wearing them in the gym while working out

Cons: the play/pause button is a bit difficult to press without pushing in the whole earpiece into you ear. it seems when you pick up a call the voice is dominant in the left side earpiece but that just may be me!

Other Thoughts: Got this during the shellshocker deal and boy was it worth it.

1 out of 5 eggsPhillips BT Headphones

Pros: Fairly comfortable to wear, decent sound (when fitted properly, but move my head and one or the other falls out).

Cons: Won't stay in my ear (I've tried bending them as suggested but haven't found any angle that works), takes several tries to pair with my Focus W7 phone, can't get them to pair with My CPU or Logitech BT receiver at all although both of my over-the-ear BT headsets pair with everything. Buttons are very hard to use. If i touch them to try and reseat in my ear the signal is lost and the music skips. Have a lot of skip if my phone is in my pocket. Don't know how long the battery last because of the fit problem I get fed up after a few minutes and go back to my wired ear buds (that stay in place) I would return them if I could but with the "replacement only" return policy I'm stuck with them.

Other Thoughts: Glad I didn't pay full price, wish I had noticed the no return notice.

3 out of 5 eggsits just worth 10$

Pros: OK to use, the ear buds are very soft and just come out from ears, i replaced with the $1 ear buds from dollar tree and they just fit perfectly.

sound quality is not so good, my 5$ Philips ear phones sound better and rocks.

Cons: does pair with phones easily but no with laptop or PC's don't know why, I tried with different Bluetooth dongles but it doesn't pair at all

Other Thoughts: Look for better Headphones.

2 out of 5 eggsNeeds New Firmware!!!

Pros: got it on a shell shocker for $27.99
they look cool

Cons: bought 2 for both my Droid-X`s
weak single with both my droid-x running 4.5.602 GingerBread
cant even walk 15feet away before lose signal
the call button works for playing and pausing music but it will not answer or end a call either when you are listening to music or not.
does not reconnect automatically when you turn BT on phone and then turn power on Headset even when they were already paired
if phillips makes a new firmware im sure they will be better.
btw they dont stay in my ears or my sons ears to well
it is no wonder they were on sale

3 out of 5 eggsUnderwhelmed

Pros: Cool storage bag! - Easy To Sync - Wireless - Good Battery Life -

Cons: Volume Inadequate - doesn't fit well inside the ear canal - unstable connectivity when broadcast device it not in line-of-sight.

Other Thoughts: If I had paid full list for this device, I would be a little upset, but at the recent shell shocker price I paid, I am pretty happy. It does what I bought it for - allows me to listen to my iPod without annoying headset wires getting caught on my seatbelt or collar. I am disappointed, however, in the low max volume. Forget about mowing the grass with these because they'll block sound no better than Apple earbuds, which is to say that they're less than useful for that application.
