Aluratek Dual USB 2.1A Car Charger for iPad / Tablet / Smartphone AUCC02F

Pros: One of the USB charger ports works.

Cons: One of the charger ports does NOT work. And this cost more than a one-outlet smaller charger at my local Walgreens -- even after the rebate.

Pros: Price on sale

Cons: The center part broke, and the spring came out. Poor quality. I hope they will improve in the future.

Other Thoughts: Not recommend it.

Pros: Works just fine. Infact it charges my Touchpad at full charging current. Not sure if I received the rebate yet since I have relocated.

Cons: Piece of junk. Light comes on but doesn't send out any power. Can't charge anything! Not worth the price to send it back!

Pros: Return department was able to send me a replacement. I have not yet used the replacement unit yet.

Cons: The +ve connection use a spring which is connected to the circuit board. Most likely the problem is that the spring is disconnected to the board. However, when I soldered the spring back on the board, the unit was still dead.

Other Thoughts: Can't say that I can recomment this product for even $2.99. If it's $1, I may try another one.

+ Metallic piece that rotates out to function as a handle for removing it from the lighter slot.

Cons: - My iPad would report being charged when the Apple charging cable was plugged into only one of the two charging ports (the one on the side with the handle). The other did not charge the iPad and the iPad said "Not Charging". I think this means the iPad is being powered by the charger but not charged. In both cases the LED on the charger was illuminated and nothing was plugged into the other charging slot.

Other Thoughts: Newegg's price and the mail-in rebate mean that I cannot complain too much about this product, but still, it does not say anywhere that only one of the slots will charge an iPad.
