5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I Love this product. I love the freedom it gives me with the powerful bluetooth capabilities. The noise canceling technology is unbelievable. I tested it with a stereo blasting loud and my friend couldn't hear anything but my voice.

Cons: The sound quality leaves something to be desired, but it in no way overshadows the other amazing features of this product.

5 out of 5 eggsCallpod Dragon is great!

Pros: This is definitely long range. I can get at least 100 feet away from my phone, through walls. The sound quality is fine and the controls are easy to use.

Cons: I do with there was a couple more different sizes for the ear wraps though.

Other Thoughts: This has a pretty good bang for your buck.

2 out of 5 eggsCallpod

Pros: The Dragon comes with some nice options such as USB car charger, wall charger and multiple USB cables. The pouch is a nice accessory to hold all the stuff.

Cons: The Dragon's ear clip is not one size fits all. It does not allow for adjustment. It is extremely difficult to get the unit positioned in your ear. Sound quality on the other side of the conversation is poor at best. Noise cancellation doesn't work. Didn't attempt range tests since I was so disappointed in the call quality.

Other Thoughts: For the money, buy a Blue Ant Z9. It weighs less, has better noise cancellation and audio. The Dragon will be delegated to my junk drawer or given away.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best one I have ever owned

Pros: I got this headset as a gift and I love it. My husband and I talk on the dragons using the walkie talkie mode. It has incredible range and works great with my iPhone too. The best one I have ever owned.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsexcellent range and noise cancellation

Pros: Range is the best i've seen for any bluetooth device. I no longer have to worry about walking to far away when I talk
noise cancellation also works the best of any headsets I've tried so far - nokia, plantronics, jabra (the good ones)

Cons: wish it cost less, although the price has already gone down. Had trouble getting it on at first, but figured it out soon enough

Other Thoughts: Not sure about these microphone issues others have complained about. Mine worked fine. Maybe there was a bad batch or something. I haven't tried the dual phone feature yet but looking forward to not having a separate headset for Skype

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This headset is the best one i have purchased yet. Better than my jawbone. Comfortable and clear. They weren't joking about the range. I pair it to my iphone - totally rocks

Cons: none found

Other Thoughts: I also found out that I can listen to my podcasts through my iphone by pressing the multifunction button when paired up.

1 out of 5 eggsI got a bad one too!

Pros: 100 meter range - to work with my RAZR V3.
Good receive sound quality.
Customer service courteous - offered to repair or replace my defective BRAND NEW unit

Cons: Absolutely awful transmit sound quality.
Callpod Tech support could hardly make out what I was saying. Which might be why they readily agreed to take it back?

Other Thoughts: If the replacement gets here quickly AND it works as advertised, I'll post that info here!

1 out of 5 eggsSo much disappointing.

Pros: If the range is as good as it boasts and the ability to connect to multiple devices seemlessly. Also has the ability to connect to another callpod and act as walky-talkies.

Cons: Made several calls, not one of the callers could understand me very well. Had to disconect and use the handset every time. Also this requires the use of an ear hook and it is painful to use.

Other Thoughts: So much promise - the range, the multipoint, the walky-talky feature, the voice canceling using two mics. Unfortunately the later it doesn't work. Period.

2 out of 5 eggsOne fatal flaw

Pros: Everything about this earpiece is good, except for one completely fatal flaw (see below). Topnotch features include Class 1 bluetooth (100m range!), excellent sound quality in my ear, easy to use controls, mute feature, ability to pair with more than one device, reasonably comfortable to wear, excellent charging options.

Cons: The outgoing sound quality is unbelievably poor. It is so bad as to make this product unusable. My phone has a great voice dialing feature that on every other BT headset I own, works very nearly flawlessly, every time, first time, even if I speak rapidly, i.e. "dial 123-456-7890" and bingo, the phone has it. On this phone, the microphones are so bad that my phone gets the wrong dialing number about 9 times out of 10. If I manually dial, my voice quality is often so distorted and fuzzy as to render it unintelligible.

Other Thoughts: The BT transmitter on my phone is weak, and nearly every headset I own is pretty much unusable if the phone is in my pocket when I try to use it. When I saw this device, with it's class 1 range, I really thought I had finally found the headset I've been looking for, and when I was reading the manual about all the great extra features, playing with the easy to use controls, I really thought I had found what I wanted. Then I actually tried to use it, and the house of cards came crashing down. It's just horrible. This device would easily rate 5/5 if they would just fix the microphones.
