2 out of 5 eggsIt works... kind of.

Pros: It boosts signal! (0-0.4 bars of 2G becomes 5 bars of 3G)

Cons: Range is "up to three feet" from device on paper, which is kind of useless on its own.

Range is "touch the signal booster with your phone or you get nothing" in practice.

Unless you use speakerphone or a bluetooth or wired headset for phone calls exclusively, it's entirely unhelpful.

Other Thoughts: I'm in a dead zone for my service provider (BlackBerry from Straight Talk, uses Verizon towers for some reason), and without it I get maybe one bar of "1X" (2G?) service in very certain areas of my house, and maybe a second bar in some areas outside. Using this device, I get a full 5 bars of 3G service... if I set my phone on top of the device and use a headset for any calls made/received. I'd hate to imagine trying to use something with so little effective range in a car!
The box far overplays the range and usability of the device.

I can't say it's worth the price for such a useless range, but it works ok for a "I need more signal at my desk" application.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Effective

Pros: If the product worked, there would be some pros; but the product does not work.

Cons: My situation is perfectly suited to what this product is supposed to do, but the product does nothing. Very disappointing.

5 out of 5 eggsWilson Pro Signal Booster

Pros: I was sceptical when I bought it but here in Montana cell tower can be few and far between. I made a call from a location that has intermitten service no problem. Then I had to stop where I never have had service. Again made 2 calls. I looked and had 2 bars showing so I unplugged the power supply and the phone went to NO SERVICE Plugged it back in. It took a minute or two and I got service back and a message. You only have to be within a couple feet of the unit to work.

Cons: The unit gets warm

1 out of 5 eggsSEE THE RATING

Pros: NONE

Cons: Everything, I bought this else were, and yes it is the same model number, This Unit has a bad problem with Shutting its self off, I guess One antenna talks to the Other and it really does not matter where you put the outside antenna. Most other units just turn there selves down but this unit turns off Completely, also when it does work it is not very strong. There are much better units on the Market.

Other Thoughts: Save your Money and look at the Ratings and reviews.

1 out of 5 eggshome or office need not apply

Pros: Size

Cons: signal is only 6-12 inches from the device, as described in the documentation. which I had to purchase the booster to get.

Other Thoughts: Extends your range? only if you're in a car outside your normal coverage area. if you're thinking of getting this for your office or home, don't bother. outside the room that you're in, it will be completely useless. if you're going to hold your phone in your hand while calling, that is far enough away to make this device useless.

1 out of 5 eggsI Do NOT recommend this product

Pros: Nice size

Cons: See the score I gave it that’s all the signal increase it gave me. The only way I was able to get 3 more bars is if the phone was pressed against the device. Buy the Cradle version from Wilson. A friend loaned me a Wilson cradle booster and when the phone was in the cradle I was able to get 4 more bars. If you have to have it against the device anyway it might as well be the cradle.

Other Thoughts: I did contact Wilson tech support and they said the device was working properly and that they recommend I return it to Newegg and get the cradle version. Unfortunately Newegg’s return policy is for replacement only and I don't want another one like this one.

5 out of 5 eggsit works!

Pros: i work in areas that have very low cell phone coverage. i've owned this booster for almost 2 years now.. it's convenient for being on the go. it works. no doubt about it. it means the difference of having zero bars in an area to having atleast 3 bars using it.

Cons: none that i know of.. for such a small booster it works fine

Other Thoughts: great product.. i was told i wouldn't get a great signal out of it cause it was so small.. i wasn't worried bout the size.. i was more worried about mobility. using from one vehicle to another. works great! it also means on some work sites it's the difference of sitting outside in the cold walking around hoping to catch a signal.. or sitting inside with a great signal in a warm room durring the winter time. ya get what you pay for.. you can get the larger models but they aren't as mobile and are more expensive

1 out of 5 eggsNope

Pros: It might work in a car, boat or other small space.

Cons: Should not include "home" in the description. No benefit.

Other Thoughts: Guess I need to spend more.
