1 out of 5 eggsOnly appears to boost signal

Pros: Easy install

Cons: The booster appears to increase signal strength, but the phone doesn't connect any better than no booster. Wilson says the increase in bars on the phone is the booster boosting noise, not signal, so it only looks like a stronger signal.

Other Thoughts: If you contact tech support, they say they will get back to you in 2 days, but they don't.

5 out of 5 eggsWilson

Pros: Wilson is a great product, and wilson stands behind their product. I called tec support and they are great. My amp works anywhere I go, it gives me 4 to 5 bars where I don't usually get out. I highly recommend this product. You will not go wrong with this amp.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsAn electronic wonder

Pros: Signal reception is great. Easy to use. Does not clutter an area.

Cons: Antenna cord could be longer as the minimum distance between antenna and receiver box must be five feet which is ok in a small car or if you run the cord through the window and leave it exposed.

Other Thoughts: I live a rural area with multiple dead zones, and this booster really works well to maintain a signal. It's great!

5 out of 5 eggsI vouch for it

Pros: Setup is very easy, requires no tools.
Cig lighter power plug is compact with an LED rocker switch so there is no guessing when it's powered on.
Signal had 1 or 2 bars while parked at home. This booster now gives me 5 bars. Power module gives you signal data with 3 led lights. (but is typically out of site, under a seat)
I use a wireless enabled laptop for work all day in my car as well as a cell phone. Booster helps both laptop and cell phone simultaneously receive stronger signal.
Boosts laptop speed tremendously compared to working with a weak signal.

Cons: none so far.

Other Thoughts: I need constant laptop wireless coverage. My neighborhood has spotty coverage. Places I make services calls often have spotty or weak coverage too. Before, I frequently could not get an internet connection or it would be very slow. Now everything is faster. Calls are clearer on my cell too. Call clarity was never a big issue for me as long as I could be understood. However, being able to achieve a connection on my laptop is critical. This item gives me connections when weak signals would formerly slow me down or cause an inability to get online. I consider this a must-have item for work. Wish I purchased it a year ago. It would have saved a lot of connectivity headaches for me.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Makes a Iphone actually work outside of a major city!
Will allow the iphone go from not having any signal whatsoever to full. I love it. I will be installing one of these in every vechile I own unless AT&T puts some towers up.

Cons: Phone has to be within 2ft of the interior antenna.

5 out of 5 eggsI like it

Pros: it works well

Cons: price

Other Thoughts: Ok, time for the skinny on Wilson mobile unit. I’m service tech that travels a large area both city and rural. I use my cell (sprint) and laptop (verizon) all the time to put accounts on test close tickets and get information. When I go to a weak signal it’s a pain.
. I did some research after finding out about cell boosters. I read reviews and the data about all the different models and brands. I decided that this time I would not splurge and go for the model that did every thing. I wanted a system that would work with all services in case I changed providers in the future or someone riding with me on another provider could make calls. I wanted multiple cell capability so my wife could use hers while on the laptop on vacation at the beach. Last, I did not want a wire connected to my phone (which would be a single cell anyway).
The test came the today. I was sent out to a rural area that was known to have a bad cell signal. We have spent hours upon hours trying to get a
