2 out of 5 eggsdisappointing

Pros: Others say that they hear me just fine.
It is comfortable - I am sad it doesn't work!

Cons: It sounds like people are talking into tin cans. I am very disappointed with the sound quality.
While charging, it stops its connection to the phone. Therefore when someone calls me, I have to unplug the headset from the charger, turn it on, wait for it to connect, then I can talk into the headset. All my other bluetooth headsets have always stayed connected while charging.
Firmware updates. All over the net, people say to update the firmware. But following the company's press release, it is apparent that they no longer have the firmware at their website. The link just goes to the front page, with no mention of this model.

Other Thoughts: I am very sad that I bought this last week and it apparently is no longer supported by the company.
Since it is nonrefundable, it looks like I will have to look for a new headset 4 days after receiving it.

3 out of 5 eggsExcess packaging, anyone?

Pros: Don't know yet

Cons: Don't know yet

Other Thoughts: Can you say "Massively Excessive Packaging"? Comes in a hard plastic "crystal"(?) box like a trophy in a case. Ear hook severely embedded in a weird trapezoidal case-ette. And the mfr has the audacity to suggest that they do their utmost to "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle"... which is to say they suggest you should put a goldfish or a philodendron in the plastic box.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price!

Pros: Extremely comfortable fit with over the ear hook. Although some people might prefer all the options with voice control, I'm glad that they have a setting to turn it off. I just wanted an ear piece to make and receive calls with a touch of a button.

Cons: Very slow to charge.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor Connectivity due to Voice Command

Pros: Great Sound Quality
Very Durable
Holds Charge Well

Cons: The voice interface is awful. I had this device for about a month and was able to successfully connect to my phone (Samsung Galaxy) only a handful of times. Pairing and connecting device requires putting up with the voice command interface which understands clear English about as well as the guy who sells me cigarettes. There seems to be no way around it and it was so frustrating that I threw it on the ground and stomped on it. I will never buy another Blue Ant device that has their voice command technology and I recommend that you don't either.
Difficult to connect to devices due to voice interface

Other Thoughts: Still worked after I threw it on the ground and stomped on it after sheer frustration

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Device - Update the Firmware

Pros: - Well built
- Charges Fast
- Great features
- Great sound quality

Cons: - Battery life not great
- Controls are "strange" until you update the firmware
- Voice control is just "Ok"

Other Thoughts: Pros/Cons say it all. I have owned multiple motorola, plantronics, and jabra products and this BT earpiece is my favorite. Folks I speak to say it sounds better especially when I turn up the noise reduction to the max setting. Controls are a bit weird until you update the firmware, but after that it works like all the others. I turned off my voice control, I found it a bother. Also battery life is average at best.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT BUY!

Pros: Works amazingly well. No problems, it's comfortable, connects to my LG phone with no problems, and I got it on a major sale here at newegg for $20. SO worth it.

Cons: I wish the battery life on it was longer. But for $20 I can't complain. Though if I would have paid full price of $130 I would not have been happy with it.

Other Thoughts: I might pick up another one as a spare at this price.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Earpiece

Pros: Sound quality is awesome. People that I call are all saying how much better they can hear me now. I was coming from a 4 year old motorola h620, so in my eyes, it's a tremendous upgrade. I like how it says who's calling without having to look at my phone...yeah I'm

Cons: Earpiece does get uncomfortable after extended use. It's going to vary for people since everyone's got different shaped ears. If I get more than three feet away from the phone, the earpiece drops connection.

Other Thoughts: Overall, a very good earpiece. The sound quality alone is worth the buy....hopefully it lasts. Took off one egg for the range not being up to par, and the earpiece discomfort.
