5 out of 5 eggsGood enough I'm buying another

Pros: (5 eggs takes the price into consideration)
Tons of features, very high tech, great value considering what all it does.

Great range, I can leave my phone on my desk and connect from out in the yard most of the time if I'm close to the house.

Haven't had any dropped call issues that others report.
Its not perfect, but I'm sure the models that have replaced it have fixed the minor issues I've had (for an extra 50 bucks or so, I'll stick with this model).
Easiest pairing of the many bluetooths I've had.
Excellent receive quality, plenty of volume.
Comfortable enough to wear all day (at least for me); I've also found it to be quite secure in the ear with the ear-hook.
Excellent outgoing audio in a quiet environment.
Also paired effortlessly with my computer; I use it quite a bit with Google voice and often in place of my land-line or cell when at home; it's very helpful to keep both hands free to use the 'puter while carrying on a conversation to access and share files while

Cons: ...not thrilled with the noise canceling capability; in a noisy vehicle or high-noise conditions it tends to muffle on highest setting (according to people on the other end); most say they can still understand me, but the quality is compromised.
I'm in noisy situations quite a bit; I think the "boom" is too short to separate my voice from the environment. I've found if I use my hand to direct my voice to the "boom" in those situations, it helps tremendously; I'm willing to put up with that for the price.

...inconsistent performance with voice-dialed calls; sometimes it gets it right; sometimes not. I don't like that it often places a random call when it gets it wrong without verifying first; I've learned to watch the phone to make sure it dials correctly so I can cancel quickly; that somewhat defeats the purpose of voice dial.
On the other hand, I've found it to be very accurate when using the voice search and speech to text on my Droid Incredible, especially in a quiet environm

Other Thoughts: As it says in the title, I'm ordering another today for my wife/as a spare. It has incredible features and voice commands; I wouldn't buy this one at retail, but when its on the promo or shell-shocker promotion its a tremendous value, IMHO.

One last thought:
I'm an old guy; my kids and grand-kids give me a hard time about "looking like a geek" wearing my bluetooth all the time... ...they tell me they're out of fashion and pretentious. Screw em! Its just too handy and functional, and a tremendous safety feature when driving. I don't care if they're out of style... ...I'm too old to care; I've been out of style for years.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Voice prompted set up. lightweight

Cons: It uses the odd ball Mini USB (8-pin) B-Type connector. Come one!! BlueAnt wake up!! All phone and most accessories are now standardized on Micro USB B connector! I need to carry another cable when I travel. Yak!

1 out of 5 eggsYou're not going to like this!

Pros: Worked great out of the box, no pairing issues, very easy setup. But....

Cons: After about 32 days (guess how long the return policy is!) the head set won't charge AT ALL!
I have tried many different cables so I know that's not the issue. One minute it worked and charged fine, the next it didn't.
Terribly disappointed. It was a great purchase as long as it worked.

Other Thoughts: 1,000 characters would not be enough for my other thoughts!

5 out of 5 eggsIt works!

Pros: It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Good talk time, good standby time, clear sound on voice calls. My family and friends don't complain that they cannot hear me anymore.

Cons: It doesn't make pie!

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a shell shocker deal for $24.99 as a replacement for my Motorola HS500. WOW! This headset is just incredible. It fits nicely, and I find it comfortable to wear, even for extended time periods.

2 out of 5 eggsTries to wow you but not very good

Pros: -Pairs quickly, even has a voice instruct you over the earpiece if you don't know how.
-Small, very comfortable even after extended wear

Cons: -Drops connection from phone constantly, even drops calls due to its random disconnection.
-Inconsistent sound quality. Will sometimes get complaints from the other person about my voice quality while other times there will be no complaints, even when standing in the same place.
-Relatively low battery life compared to other headsets I've used.

Other Thoughts: To be fair, I got this on the cheap during a sale so I got what I paid for. That saves it from being just one egg.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor clarity

Pros: Easy to pair.

Cons: Other party had difficulty with sound quality, to the point of extending conversations due to so many "what?".
Voice control didn't work well for me.

Other Thoughts: Probably good for the money, but mine is useless to me. Throwing away.

1 out of 5 eggsblue ant V1X

Pros: Nice fitting device and clairity is good.

Cons: I received this as a warranty replacement, when pairing, it does not tranfer my contacts into the blutooth, when I give it a command it tells me that it is calling a speed dial number, I've had better luck with cheaper bluetooth devices!

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend at all!!!!

5 out of 5 eggsWorked Fine

Pros: I bought 3 and all of them worked right out of the box with and HTC Evo, Samsung Transform, and LG Touch. All I did is charge them up, pair them, and all are working fine.

Cons: Didn't include a USB cable to connect to PC for updates.

Other Thoughts: You can buy the cable for a couple bucks from e**bay if necessary. However it appears the devices came with the latest software and it wasn't necessary. Since this product is a couple years old, I'll probably never need to update it.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Product

Pros: Easy to pair
Fits well
Voice prompts
Works well
Very Clear

Cons: short charging cord {not much of a con}

Other Thoughts: It paired easily and works well with my Droid 1. It also came with the latest firmware installed which was plus since the software app for the firmware upgrade is not compatible with a 64bit OS.

4 out of 5 eggsGood product great Newegg Service

Pros: The product was very easy to setup and worked well.
I got this product free along with the purchase of a phone for someone. Newegg shipped both the products as promised and they both worked great. The only reason I am rating it 4 stars is because I did not test the BlueAnt extensively. I got it to work easily and the performance at home seemed impressive, but I would think a real bluetooth test is how it performs in the car or in a noisier environment.

Cons: None
