2 out of 5 eggsSo tight it broke the plug

Pros: After pushing it in it worked well. It charged, it played. THe signal was pretty strong too.

Cons: It didn't fit into the 12v slot. so I cut one of the rubber pads. now it fits, but not straight. AND THEN... it broke the plug. The weight and fiddling with it and whatever caused the plug to spin. sigh. and now it won't stay up. it slowly slowly droops down to the side.

Other Thoughts: Well I guess that's done. Maybe next time I shouldn't get an off-brand?

5 out of 5 eggsGG Flex Pod FM Transmitter

Pros: Price - 20 bucks with free shipping.
Functionality - Works Great. No interference and clear sound.
The handsfree option for iphone is a great bonus that works ok. Although you can get feedback from your car speakers.
Charges Iphone well.

Cons: It's tough to plug in, but It's supposed to be so the device does not move around once it is plugged it. Come on guys just put some force into it and it'll go it.

Other Thoughts: At 20 bucks including shipping this is a far better deal then at a big box store where you are looking at at least 80 bucks for a decent FM transmitter - without being able to charge the phone!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Device

Pros: Fits Ipod Touch
no static in songs
durable

Cons: have to cut rubber studs of power plug or otherwise will not fit inlet

Other Thoughts: you have to cut off rubber studs that are supposed hold the device in place but it will not fit your cars power outlet. you probably don't need to cut all them off but i did and still holds my iPod perfectly in place even in sharp turns.

3 out of 5 eggsTravel made easy...

Pros: Not bad for the price. The quick search function is nice, making quick channel switches while driving.

Cons: The iPod iPhone connector was a little flimsy. After a few months, the connector spilt at the seams and one button fell out. Also, the hands free is useless with my iPhone. With the connector iPhone connector plugged in and receiving a call, I had to plug the audio out plug. However, with the audio out connector plugged in, I couldn't listen to music.

Also, the rubber pads to maintain the unit in the plug was extremely tight. It took some finagling to finally get it in without breaking my power outlet.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This product works fine. I was able to shape the device to my desired position, the volume works fine and is loud with no static.

Cons: The dc plug is really hard to fit into the outlet as I had read before I bought it. You have to really shove it in far for it to power up.

Other Thoughts: You should turn the device off by using the power button because once you get this in the outlet you will not want to remove it if you dont need to.

1 out of 5 eggsblackcat

Pros: Not much. Overall build quality appears well done.

Cons: The male connection to this contraption will not insert completely and correctly into the 12v auxiliary power outlet of my Ford f150. I have pushed and shoved until I fear I will damage the connection. An electrical connection is eventually made, but shakes loose after a minute or two of driving. Eventually, this contraption shakes completely loose and falls to the floor of the truck. It's not worth the time, effort, and money to return.

Other Thoughts: Looks good on paper, but works very poorly.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazed

Pros: I am quite impressed by this transmitter, I've tried 3-4 other models and none of them were this good. I would get all sorts of static when I drive distances into bigger cities, but with model, it stays static free all the time.

Cons: none

2 out of 5 eggsNo Contact

Pros: Flexible

Cons: Plug is too big for most car lighters and has to be forced into the socket. The concept of sending to the radio via FM has not been perfected and leaves much to be desired (bad station crossover). If you have a car with an old cassette player op for the tape adapter.

Other Thoughts: Buy if you have no other choice, but if you do take the other choice.

3 out of 5 eggsNot bad for the price

Pros: Nice adjustable holder. Will hold a small iPod Nano to an 8 year old Gen 2 iPod firmly. The iPod connector is a nice touch especially since it will charge the iPod too. Can be used with any MP3 player (or even an old 80's Walkman or for that matter) through the headphone jack input.

Cons: The cigarette plug is too "fat" to fit into a standard cigarette lighter. The big rubber pads around the plug tend to push out the plug so it's constantly losing power. The signal isn't "crystal clear". Gooseneck is a little short for some cars (in my case a full size 1997 Chevy pickup)

Other Thoughts: In order not to destroy my cigarette lighter plug, I had to cut off one of the rubber pads with an Xacto knife. It fits OKay now. Before, it was just too fat, and would constantly come out since it was hard to push in. It's too bad, the rest of the design is really good.

Also, since I got this for audiobooks and not music, I can hear the static more. It's not bad and if you find just the right channel is more than tolerable, but it's not "crystal clear" as others have stated. The static is very minor, but it's there. For the record I've used another FM modulator with this radio and that one was indeed crystal clear.

3 out of 5 eggsCigarette Lighter

Pros: Perfect Concept!

Cons: The 4 inch Neck was a little short for where my cigarette outlet is located. My IPhone 4 mysteriously would not turn on after I unplugged it from the charger on the GG Flex Pod. I had to plug it into the original I phone charger cable in connected to a wall outlet in order to get my IPhone to finally turn on. Scary!

Other Thoughts: The GG Flex Pod would not plug into my cigarette outlet properly. There are rubber pads on the side of the plug that goes into the lighter outlet and that prevented the device from staying securely seated in the outlet. Instead it would pop up and out of the outlet.
