4 out of 5 eggsNice unit

Pros: Good sound... Paired easily... BT 3.0

Cons: Half second audio lag when used with laptop to view video.

Other Thoughts: I tried all of the usual solutions, updated drivers etc, no help on the audio lag... RMA because this was going to be the primary use.

2 out of 5 eggsNot too good for anything except music

Pros: Pretty good sound quality. Mic is good too. Includes a number of cords for whatever connection you need. Rather comfortable, and compact.

I love the touch controls on the side. While I sometimes did accidentally brush against them, they were much more convenient than opening my phone and switching songs or changing the volume.

Cons: Not very robust - it seemed to fall apart very easily. Disappointing that it does since it's being billed as portable. To switch from a folding position to putting it on your head, it clicks into place. This also turns the headset on. Eventually that broke loose, so sometimes when the headset is on my head it simply slips into the off position. Also, the USB-to-3.5mm cord stopped working very quickly, basically destroying my only way of having not-horrible quality audio.

The bluetooth range is abysmal. It will not connect to my phone - an HTC One - when the phone is in my pocket. I have a number of other bluetooth devices that work with each other from across the room.

Getting it to work with a PC (for Skype/gaming/what have you) is confusing. With a USB or bluetooth connection, it is detected as two seperate headsets. One allows decent-quality sound but no mic. The other allows you to use the mic but has absolutely abysmal sound quality. It sounds worse than a walkie-talkie.

Other Thoughts: While the sound quality when simply listening to music is nice, the horrible bluetooth reception, poor build quality, and awkward PC configurations make this headset hard to recommend. You could buy a Koss Porta Pro an call it a day, and basically get everything beneficial this headset provides - comfort, portability, and a 3.5mm jack. Trying to make the Halo2 a jack-of-all-trades worked against it. None of it works very well.

5 out of 5 eggsBest in class

Pros: Sound, which is very good overall and excellent for its class (namely, Bluetooth headphones). Excellent connectivity (Bluetooth, USB, 3.5mm audio jack). Good battery life. Comfortable. Well laid touch controls. Fold to turn off. Pretty.

Cons: Hinges look flimsy (they are holding so far though, we'll see). Difficult to clean.

Other Thoughts: Sure, these headphones cannot possibly compare in sound quality with a good pair of wired headphones. They are however superior in this respect to any Bluetooth headphones and even better than many mid-priced wired headphones. In fact one has to pay at least twice as much for a pair of wired headphones to obtain better sound!

I could not find any description of this anywhere (including in the manual), but if the headphones are plugged into a USB port they become visible to the computer as an audio device (two of them actually, as headset as well as headphones) so they are usable as such as also charge at the same time. The 3.5 mm audio jack is only needed when neither USB nor Bluetooth is available.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great sound quality, excellent voice quality, beautiful design and form factor. Turning it on and off by opening and closing the headset is fantastic. I enjoy Touch volume much more than I expected. Also the ability to connect to 2 devices at once is a killer feature.

Cons: Inner material is a dirt magnet and hard to clean. AM3D Virtual Surround Sound is hard to get used to at first. Headphones require the use of an equalizer to get the levels just right. Touch controls for skipping tracks is finicky.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this for your computer, these headphones are optimized for use with phones and tablets.

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy

Pros: Design. They look nice. Sound good. Usb to 1/8 jack cable cause you will need it.

Cons: Poor bluetooth reception. Cuts in and out all the time. Sound like listening to a scratched cd. Tried on 3
phones. I got these with my amex points and was unable to get support.

Other Thoughts: Do not recommended.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat headphones!

Pros: Great for listening to audio from your computer or mobile phone. Very comfortable and long battery life.

Cons: Quality of phone calls, but I can't imagine using a headphone like this for phone calls.

Other Thoughts: Paired easily with Win 7, but you will have to modify the connection in the device's properties after it has been paired.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sleek design; Comfortable. A hat/visor fits comfortably over the headset. Touch volume better than dials that eventually cause static when ajusting volume. Music sounds good. Can control pause, skip music selections. Easy fold up storage. $59 a great price.

Cons: Was only able to get about 5-6 hrs of playing music, although was playing a highest volume. As battery life went down the sound occansionly cut out for a second, found the closer the phone the less cut outs, also my movement when cutting grass might be causing it. No replacement ear pads, they seem permanatly attached, I do a lot of sweating cutting grass, working out.

Other Thoughts: I use these when cutting grass and loudness of music is as good as the Apple earphones, usually have to turn down volume when lawnmower is off. Have only used once for talking on phone and quality was good. Overall I love this headset and have had no problems. Came within 3 days of ordering, thanks Newegg!

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I thought it was a cool design. I liked the audio jack cable in the times I am using it on a device that does not have bluetooth.

Cons: I'm no audiophile, but I thought the sound quality was lacking for how much I paid.

I could not get my computer to 'pair' with my Win 7 Pro device. But it was never actually connected. I thought maybe it was because windows had poor bluetooth software. So I tried it on my brother's mac air and Samsung G SIII. Neither device recognized it.
I called Jabra tech support. They seemed to have very little knowledge when it comes to pairing their devices to windows machines. Maybe it was a defective device, but I wasn't going to give them a second chance. I got my money back.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great design and look. Seemed like microphone quality would be good.

Cons: Defective: Sound only came out of right earpiece no matter what device I paid it with. Even paired it with my MacBook Air where I could explicitly choose that it should be a Stereo audio profile.

Also, there is no conventional on/off switch. In order to turn it off, you have to fold up the headphones. Constantly having to fold/unfold the headphones, I'd imagine, would be like bending the tab of a soda can back and forth and back and forth. You know what happens when you do that?

Other Thoughts: One egg for design. Another egg for the speed of newegg's RMA process. That's it. I would have considered exchanging the unit through Jabra, but they're not open on the weekend.

After many many years of products from newegg, this was my first defective... anything. I was not aware that I would be responsible for return shipping costs. I'm not upset about it, I just think it's something everyone needs to be more aware of.
