A lot of people complain about using a headset in a high-noise environment. Well, the noise-canceling technology for this headset was developed for the military, the ultimate high-noise environment.
This unit uses two microphones to constantly sample both your voice and the local environment, with powerful digital signal processing so it can remove the noise and leave just your voice behind. Sure, it offers you four hours of talk time or up to eight days of standby time, and it only weighs 10 grams. And it offers several different sized and shaped earbuds and earloops so you can find the one that works best for you. Naturally it comes with a wall charger and a USB cable.
Regardless of how much the prototypes cost the military, you can have one for a lot less. Think about it and get back to us.
Pros: Very lightweight, sexy in the ear. Very wearable without the earhook, and will not shake free even if you try. Feels quite natural, and the face n1pple easily touches the face without any adjustments needed. Very loud, too! You won't have any problems hearing who you're talking to, even if you drive a loud vehicle. I was able to wear the headset for over 8 hours without feeling the need to take it off. The power cord connector is magnetized, similar to the Mag Safe connector on MacBook's, which is a nice touch. It charges quickly too (50 minutes), and via USB. Overall, this is an incredibly well designed, well thought out, extremely high quality product.
Cons: The inherent flaw (if you'd call it a flaw) with an in-ear designed headset, is the obstruction it causes in your ear when you're talking - making it increasingly difficult to hear your own voice. Similar to sticking your finger in your ear and talking. With the headset, you'll hear everyone clearly, that's for sure... but knowing whether you're talking loud enough for them is a minor annoyance.
Other Thoughts: I've never had anyone say anything about not being able to hear me loud enough. People can't even tell I'm using a headset.

Pros: People can hear me, I can hear them. No matter what the conditions I am in. My truck, my car, my shop, tools running, radio on or in a busy store, people CAN hear me.
Cons: You MUST buy the Jabra Minigels available at the verizon store to make this headset fit well. I tried every loop and earbud that came with it, none of them worked. I did some research and found many users having success with the jabras. Once I got them, Voila! perfect fit. The other con is the sound quality is different then other BT's. It sounds a bit tinny, Kinda like what someones voice sounds like through a megaphone. I got used to it fast, it brings clarity for me, allows me to hear in noisy environments. I can see how some people might be bothered.
Other Thoughts: I have tried tons of BT headsets. My wife is very picky and hated my voice on every other bt. This one she loves. Once I got the Jabra minigels it fit better and I can wear it comfortably all day.

Pros: Looks great, light weight & fits like a charm. Buttons to activate it are hard to feel and you often have to take the cover off to engage it with your Blue Tooth device. After that it works great, UNTIL...
Cons: Until i speak into it. This one would barely pick up any sound. I look forward to trying out the replacement i get here in a week or so.
Buttons on it to avtivate it need to be easier to feel/press.

Pros: Small, lightweight, sleek, blends in with your face if you don't want to say "hey look at me, I have this thing with flashing lights stuck in my ear". Paired easily to an LG CU926, clear audio both ends. 2 Buttons hidden behind cover but easy to press, comes with extra hoops and ear pieces, also has a USB cord to charge it which plugs into a wall charger(supplied). 50 minutes for full charge.
Cons: Range with this phone at least is less than I expected. Typically not a big issue.
Other Thoughts: Shipping advertised as 4-6 days but took 12 days from west coast to midsection of country???

Tricky but works!

Pros: Near absolute noise cancellation I have tested this in many situations. But the trick to getting a good quiet connection for the person you are talking to, is to get a fairly direct, somewhat solid contact with your skin/cheek.
Cons: Button on the side is easy to hit, especially with adjusting the earpiece. Be careful, you have been warned. Also warn the other party if you are going to try adjusting it.
Other Thoughts: Follow my rules, please! - use it whenever you drive (for safety sake) - take it out when you are around people (you get made fun of if you don't, trust me). Switching from headset <-> earpiece should be simple on your phone. You're hands are not that valuable that you cannot use one of them to hold a phone to your head to talk on a phone. - charge it every night if you use it a lot
