5 out of 5 eggsGood Headset... bad price!

Pros: This headset sounds really, really, good. It's crystal clear for the most part using my LG VX9700 (The Dare). The thing that one must realize is that alllllll bluetooth headsets are going to have some interference once in a while. The call button works just fine and the headset was discovered and paired within seconds. Good buy if you're looking for something that will be of great sound quality.

Cons: As is the case with most headsets, people complain about background noise if I'm in the car or doing something around the house. That's more so because the mouthpiece isn't by the mouth... it's by the ear... where most people talk from right?! Well anyway, the major con of this headset is that the volume buttons don't work with my phone. I've used this headset on two phones, the LG vx9700 (the dare) and the LG vx8300. It perhaps is an LG thing, if someone can confirm the buttons work on other phones. The call button works, but there's no point except to turn the unit on and off. The last con is that the flimsy over-the-ear piece will probably end up breaking if you don't store it somewhere where it's not exposed to any forces ever. So, in other words, if you don't want it to fatigue and snap eventually... don't try and use it and adjust it to your ear.

Other Thoughts: The headset works like a headset should for the most part. If I had to buy a headset again, I would definitely look at this one, but just be careful not to snap the over-the-ear piece because that means you have to buy a new headset or try to finagle the thing to stay in your ear like ear bud headphones. That doesn't really work for me.

2 out of 5 eggsForm over function

Pros: Very stylish, light, and compact. Nice button placement. Good incoming sound quality. Comfortable to wear.

Cons: Outgoing quality was reported at staticy... and mediocre at best. Poor noise cancellation; in fact, background noises were amplified. Shotty build quality.

Other Thoughts: For the price premium, you could do much better. It is one of the sleekest looking devices available, however, its performance is poor in my opinon. My S800 blows the JX10 out of the water, and at half the price.

5 out of 5 eggsmy THIRD jx10!! (in a good way)

Pros: nice and small, light weight, clear sounds, no pairing or other technical difficulties, pretty straight forward "it just works" type of product. what's not to like?

Cons: the only complaint is that the volume level on my last jx10 somehow became really quiet after a good year and a half of daily-usage...

Other Thoughts: this is my THIRD jx10, not because they keep breaking, but bcs i like 'em so much. I even went back to it after not liking another set. I find the earloop to be uncomfortable, so i use a earbud foam (from ipod) and just stick it in my ear without the loop. I dont wear it 24-7 but its very comfortable even for long hours.

3 out of 5 eggsJX10

Pros: Good sound, lightweight and very comfortable to wear.

Cons: The bit that attaches the earwire to the headset breaks very easily and the earwire itself is fragile.

Other Thoughts: The performance and sound quality are great on this headset BUT - it doesn't stand up to day-to-day wear and tear very well. It started to fall apart, the earwire would fall off the headset and finally broke to the point I had to glue it on to continue to use it. After that the wire itself broke.

2 out of 5 eggsJabra JX10 not upto the expectations

Pros: Small in Size.Looks Good.Great Design.

Cons: Serious Connectivity Problems. It loses Connectivity with some idle time on the phone. The Voice gets muffled up and the opposite party complains big time on the Voice Clarity. You will be forced to disconnect the headset and talk directly thru the phone.

Other Thoughts: Not a Good Buy. I have applied for my refunds after 2 attempts.

5 out of 5 eggsJabra JX10 Series II

Pros: Very small and light weight, excellent design, and doesn’t move around when you are active. Easy to put on and take off. The integrated DSP technology is a major sound improvement that significantly minimizes ambient noises. Features Bluetooth 2.0 technology, with 1.2 backward compatibility, along with the latest multipoint technology.

The JX10 SII kit includes a wall charger, beautiful charging cradle, extremely convenient USB charging cable, and a small car charger.

Cons: Wind shear is still a problem, and it doesn’t completely cancel out ambient noises.

Other Thoughts: If they could eliminate wind shear and ambient noises all together, you would have the ultimate Bluetooth headset.
