4 out of 5 eggsRefurbished, but good value when you get a good one

Pros: A great value, designed to work very well, with many built in features.

Cons: THESE APPEAR TO BE ALL RETURNED/REFURBISHED UNITS. So you may have to buy a few to get one that works properly, and you will have to re-program. I haven't figured out where to get the special USB cable yet, but they're out there (prior owner used it to personalize the display). You can download the desktop SW, and a complete manual, from Jabra website, and they seem to have responsive customer support.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is really good about letting you swap until you find a good one (or even keep two and built a good one out of various parts). Yes they're used. Yes there's some hassle, but it's a really good price on a well-designed product.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Frankly, you cannot buy a better BT headset for this price. Now add the second earpiece and you have nothing in this price range. I find they have a very long battery life and charge in about 2 hours. Fastest linkup yet. Don't need to understand any feature to use this so it is simple. I have bought 4 units and gave some as gifts...those who received them tossed their other BT headsets. It has some bulk but is very comfort, no ear fatigue and plenty of volume easily adjusted by the volume ring...much better than buttons. I use these to listen to music when working outside...loses only 2 of 5 bars after 8 hours of CONTINUOUS being on the phone for 8 hours! Large size is an does not get lost. My $125 Jabra got lost after 4 weeks and never worked as good.

Cons: Manual could be better. No info on website for hooking up to PC with the free software for managing the on-headphone phone book or upgrading firmware. Suspect you need a micro-USB to USB cable not listed on website or at New Egg. Found it will not voice dial very well with any background noise using Blackberry Bold.

Other Thoughts: I bought spares...cannot get better than these in ruggedness, comfort, sound quality or ease of use.

3 out of 5 eggsA good headset with a fatal flaw

Pros: This headset has great sound, and hearing my calls in stereo is great. The sound is clear and crisp, especially when you use both earpieces. I've never tested what it sounds like on the receiving end, but I never had problems with people understanding me. The battery life is very good, but I usually turn them off when I'm not using them to prolong the battery life.

Cons: The ear hooks on both sets broke within a month of each other after about 6 months of daily use. The wire inside broke first, and then eventually the plastic sheath broke as well.

Other Thoughts: Without the ear hooks, they are pretty much useless now.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Works great, execellent price
Ear hooks are VERY customizable; you can put about any kink and bend you want into them. As a result, they sit on your ears, not in them; your ears don't get NEARLY as sore as other in-ear products I have had do over an hour or so.

Cons: no "retail packaging"

Other Thoughts: I was really put off as how this was different from the retail version (about $40 more expensive); I don't know if they are refurbished or something similar, but it doesn't looked used, and the only difference was lack of packaging. So if you feel a little weary (as I did), don't; as far as my experience goes, it's exactly the same as the retail version.

5 out of 5 eggsUnbelievable for the price

Pros: This is an update to an earlier review.

For the even lower price (22.95) I got 2 more of these in additition to one I had purchased and reveiwed earlier at full price. As a D*** field tech I am on the phone constantly. This pairs up with both of my phones flawlessly.

I just used it for the first time to hook up in stereo mode to my laptop and it works far better than I expected for music while remaining paired up to my phone at the same time. I could not be more pleased.

I have returned home after some very long days and seen the battery meter down only one bar. I only hope that Jabra makes newer models that are convertible to stereo and work this well for the price.

Cons: Price is not free.

Other Thoughts: The OEM packs do not come with the USB adapter cable that is included in the retail package. You need this cable to use the Control Center and upgrade the firmware/add contacts to the headset. READ THE MANUAL! You will be missing out on much of the functionality of this unit if you do not.

1 out of 5 eggsMono Unit Only

Pros: Seems like a good product

Cons: The bullk package I received did not have the second stereo earpiece or connector cable. Inquired to customer service and was informed that this unit ships with the mono earpiece only.

Other Thoughts: The return policy is easy and fair so wasn't a big deal other than the time to ship back.

4 out of 5 eggsIt looks used

Pros: For all purposes, the bluetooth is great. Stereo is a snap and sounds great. You cannot find another product with this price/performance ratio Excellent product on Jabra's part. They have firmware upgrades on Jabra's website although the software will not work on Vista 32-bit.

Cons: The OEM version that newegg is selling appears to used. Cosmetically, mine came all scratched up and the cover looks like it got burnt with strange purple paint. Don't get it and plan on gifting it to anyone. In regards to the product. The ear piece makes my ears sore after wearing it for a while, partially due to the fact that the bluetooth headset is big and a bit heavy.

Other Thoughts: Would have given this product 5 stars except for its horrible. I should have have probably bought new rather than oem.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal

Pros: Paired with my BB Bold immediately.
So easy to use and volume control is a wonder.
Simple controls without needing to memorize all the complexities common on other BT headsets for all the features. I use the basics and they came without reading.
Good battery time
And the surprise...great BT stereo headset that surprisingly is not heard by neighbors in bed!

Cons: Slightly bulky and uncomfortable but this prevents loss. I had the smallest made and lost it within a month. I am not one of those people that walks around with my BT headset waiting for a call so I do not wear it all the time.

Other Thoughts: I was so impressed with the reliability, simplicity and quality of this device and at a price 25% of what I would expect to pay that I bought 2 more for spares!!!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: caller ID and very loud and can play music w/o having secondary headset conn the vibration is great when you have to put it in your pocket. I have now bought 3 and have no complaints at all

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: you have to get used to the headset I had one and let my wife use it and I had to buy myself another one
