Great charging pod!
- Pros: Does what is says. Storm 9530 fits perfectly and charges as claimed. I enjoy the fact that the charger wire isn't built into the pod. This eliminates the issue of the wire going bad, making the pod useless. You can just buy a replacement charger. Also, has very sturdy design, and nice rubber bottom to eliminate sliding.
- Cons: Other than the fact it has to be a bare Storm, which means you can't have a case on the phone I couldn't find any problems.
- Other Thoughts: I don't know what the issues with the Storm 2's are, but I assume that's why it says it's for the original Storm. I liked this pod so much that I bought one for home and work.
Works great
- Pros: Looks great and functions perfectly.
- Cons: Indicator light is lit 24/7 if plugged into power cord. Not a big con
Storm 1 but not Stome 2
- Pros: After grinding the plastic the to allow the Storm 2 to fit without a cover, it charges well but is still a bit tight to remove. I also have a Storm 1 that fit without any modifications.
- Cons: Doesn't fit Storm 2 without modifications, but at this price it is worth it if you have the ability to adapt it. RIM accessories page shows two different models of these chagers depending on which Storm model you have.
- Other Thoughts: Works much better than having to plug in the cable each time. Just be ready to mod it.
