Panasonic is one of the premier names in consumer electronics, and has been for decades. Their 1.9 GHz Digital DECT 6.0 phone set, with base and four additional handsets, lets you move freely around your home with startlingly clear sound. The encoding technology provides greater protection against eavesdropping for all your calls, and the 1.9GHz frequency range keeps you out of conflict with other wireless devices such as computer routers, wireless keyboards, and microwave ovens.
Program each handset to ring — or not — as you please. Before going to sleep, simply set the bedside handset to Night Mode so it won't ring in your bedroom. In the meantime, the handset in the living room or elsewhere will still ring when that important call comes in without disturbing the person who's sleeping. If necessary, leave the ringer off, and the light-up indicator at the base of the phone will alert you when a call comes in!
Expandable up to six handsets in addition to the base, this setup lets you have the chance of a phone within reach no matter where you go at home, and its power will let you hear clearly no matter where you go!

Pros: Great phones. Really like the speakerphone and voice caller id feature on every handset. High quality build- great quality audio too. It is nice that the phonebook feature syncs up among all handsets- older generations of Panasonic phones didn't.
Cons: Wish the additional handsets were cheaper (the base can support 2 additional handsets for a total of 6.)
Wish it were possible to "name" each phone. Each one is assigned a number that is displayed on the LCD. I turn the ringer off on some of mine and I have to remember which # belongs in which room. If I could name them like "LR" for living room, it would be easier.
Other Thoughts: Took a while to get use to the smaller size compared to my older cordless phones, but now the others seem huge! I like the smaller size now.
I wasn't having an issue with my older 2.4 and 5.8 GHz phones and my 802.11 network, but on other sites reviewers have stated that these DECT 6.0 phones that operate on the 1.9 GHz band cleared up wireless network issues for them.

Pros: So many - great range talking caller id FROM the address book shared address book call blocking
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: we could not find any reference to the fact that the talking caller id will reference the address book entry if there is one - what a bonus! allows creative naming

Pros: Good features, good reception, like the intercom.
Cons: The microphone for 1 handset was bad so I had to return the entire set for replacement. Newegg was great on the return, but we lost a couple weeks.

Pros: Easy to install and use. Great signal strength and crystal clear voice quality.
Cons: The handset is very light weight and sometimes when sitting in the charging cradle it can easily be knocked over.
