Pros: Great way to use cellular in buildings with low/spotty signal. Connect up to 2 cell phones. AAA rechargeable batteries are easily replaceable.
Cons: There are a few "tricks" you need to learn for best operation.
Other Thoughts: I use with 2 iPhones. I had connection issues at first but after a few calls to tech support I learned the proper settings for the phone. (not sure why they are not factory settings) Now I just have to remember to powercycle the phones every few days (recommended by Apple) and all is well.

Got it Despite Reviews...WORKS!
Reviewed By: HadToWriteAReview on 9/18/2009
Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 day to 1 week
Pros: Works as advertised.
Voice caller id is fun and even useful at lazy times when deciding to answer.
Handsets are good size for holding which seems to be tough to find as cordless phones keep getting smaller.
Handsets even have speaker phones which seem to work pretty well based on a couple calls so far.
Uses AAA rechargeable batts instead of some proprietary battery pack.
Cons: Cheap looking buttons.
When making a call through the handset via my cell, seems that I can not do key prompts (ie: press 1 to skip someones voice message, etc.).
Other Thoughts: Seemed like a 50/50 shot that it would actually work based on reviews here and elsewhere. I had to try it as my cell cuts out in my home office (great reception most everywhere else) and my cell is my Work phone! I have a BB Pearl via Verizon. I have taken several calls via my cell and landline and not one dropped call like I have read about. Made calls via cell through the cordless handset and no problems there either.
I will upate this if things change.

Works great

Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: Connects automatically, allows two different cell phones at a time, good range, speaking caller id, input phone book into one handset and it automatically saves to all handsets.
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: I almost didn't buy this phone system due to all the negative reviews on here and elsewhere. I really needed something to extend my and my wife's cell phones into the basement since they are our only phones (no land line, nor one wanted). Bought this and as soon as I get into the garage, the cell phones connect to the base station. You can set different ringers for each of the lines so you can differentiate which cell phone is ringing and the spoken caller id is pretty cool. I have my base station centrally located and have never had a call dropped. Our cell phones are a Samsung Eternity and Motorola Rzr2. I highly recommend these if you need to extend your cell phones throughout your house!
