Good buy
- Pros: Voice clarity, large display
- Cons: The menus are a bit clumsy.
Great system!!!
- Pros: Easy setup and operation.
High clarity from base unit and handsets. Nice display on handsets and great features for price. Message retrieval and monitoring from handset is excellent.
- Cons: Seems to have a decent battery life, but not great.
Keep the user manual handy for programming purposes.
- Other Thoughts: Replaced an AT&T Dect 6.0 system that was only a year old. The handsets started to develop alot of static and they lost communication sometimes. This system is heads and shoulders above my last one. It has 2 less handsets, but the idea of a corded base unit in case of a power loss is great. The system programming and handset functions are terrific. For the price, this system is great!!!
Great Phone
- Pros: Very nice design, no wireless interference with my other wireless gear, works very well. Sound very clear and while my house isn't the largest, the wireless handsets work in every room of a two story house and outside on the deck with no loss of quality. Setup menus not too difficult to navigate, only need to setup numbers one time and copy to other headsets and base. I was looking for a system that had a corded base (for power failures) with an answering system plus a couple of spare handsets, this system fit me to a tee. The rechargable AAA batteries will be easy to replace when it comes time, but right now they last even my wife's long-winded phone conversations.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: I use the base as a kitchen phone, hanging it on the wall. The base uses a power adapter to power the voice messaging system, so make sure you have a plug handy, and a pretty good way to hide the cord.
