5 out of 5 eggsNIce set or telephones.

Pros: Great quality, very very clear. Can go long distances with these phones. Great brand. I recommend this product. Have had it for more than a year and they still work great,

Cons: No cons at all just wish they were a little more affordable but worth the money.

5 out of 5 eggsGood phone system

Pros: Very simple to setup and use
Good sound quality (speakerphone too) and range
Great battery life

Cons: Max volume is just OK, would be nice to able to make it a bit louder when the ambient noise level is high or the volume level of the person you are talking too is low

Other Thoughts: Purchased from Newegg over a year ago. No problems yet with the phones. Phone locator is a great feature when nobody else in your home bothers to return the phones to their cradles

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: There have been enough reviews that weigh the pros and cons of the features of this phone. I see no reason to do another. Instead, I'll just say there are only two features I care about. Call blocking and the handsets powering the base unit during power outage. On both, this phone is perfect. Blocking numbers is super easy. My phone already rings about 1/3 less often. That alone is worth 5 eggs.

I've tested the power failure feature and it works surprisingly well.

On the whole, this is an excellent phone. There is some small amount of static when you first turn the handsets on but disappears immediately, once you make your call. Clarity is great by default. I didn't have to mess with the equalizer.

Additionally, the AAA batteries, instead of those annoying battery packs, is a major plus. Easy and cheap to find the eventual replacements.

Cons: A few minor nitpicks but I haven't gone through the manual much yet so this could amount to nothing at all.

I'd rather it had the ability to silence the base unit from ringing.

Along the same lines, I would prefer that silencing one handset silenced everything.

It doesn't look like you can access much, if any, of the menu from the main base unit.

Talking caller ID is unbelievably annoying. This I did read the manual for this and disabled it immediately.

There's one or two other minor things that don't come to mind at the moment.

Oh, and it doesn't have a mute button that's compatible with my wife.

Other Thoughts: I didn't even want to mention any cons, because they are so minor, but newegg says I have to put something there.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Comfortable handsets, good sound quality, easy setup.

Volume levels for both the ringer and speakers are easily adjusted.

Speaker phone is clear and the mic works well. The mute feature is easily turned on/off and is very responsive.

Cons: I teleconference quite often (2hrs+ 3-4 days a week) and have not had any issues thus far.

Other Thoughts: This set allows you to label each handset however you see fit, I chose to use the name of the room in which each resides.

2 out of 5 eggsReal headache

Pros: Price,

Cons: Size,echo boost,connectivity,ergonomics

Other Thoughts: The phones don't hold a charge after more than a week. After a few moments on the phone, like 5 minutes, the system has to recharge before you can use it again. Hitting flash to catch another incoming call is futile. The selection buttons are too close. I am small 5'2 with small hands and my Fingers hit wrong keys constantly. I've had Panasonic phones for over 10 years and this model is simply not their best product. P is known for its quality, but this was either an experiment or the company is losing its edge.
