Cons: No manual included in box. Did have installation instructions, but these were not needed if you have used such phones before.
One remote unit would never work.
Will NEVER buy Uniden again, not one that is a refurbished unit.
Other Thoughts: My sister found this unit extremely hard to use as the operation of controls are not very user friendly. Last unit gave her built-in verbal instructions on what to do.

Pros: Looks neat. That's about it.
Cons: One handset did not work at when I got the shipment. Second one also stopped working in a week. Now working with just the 3rd one and the base. Called Newgg and asked for an RMA. Waiting for a RMA. Hopefully the replacement would be a much better product.
Other Thoughts: You get what you pay. Go buy a new set.

Pros: phones work
Cons: Came with a bad battery in one phone. I called the Manufacturer for a replacement battery and they responded that they will not honor warranties on recertified products sold by Newegg. For a stupid battery I had to send the whole system back to Newegg.
Other Thoughts: I usually don't have a problem with recertified products. I reason that a human had to check if they work before I get them. I guess no one checks the batteries.

Pros: Versatile unit, has lots of features for a land line, is easy to use right out of the box. Great reception, no interferance from microwaves, etc that I can tell. Great message machine and lots of phone book entries. Great usage of 4 phones utilizing just 1 jack.
Cons: Did not include a "Do NOT DISTURB" button like on older models. Each phone can be shut off individually, but I liked the DND on older phone that would shut off all units at once. Not enough ring tones. No phone clips (but that's because it was recertified, new should include clips)
Other Thoughts: I used to own an older model UNIDEN and it has lasted for years. The only reason I replaced it was the buttons were getting so worn that they were getting hard to read. I hope that the new unit will last a LONG LONG time like the old one did.
