Pros: I work from home and this met the requirements of my employer. I had previously used plantronics and was happy with their product. Almost a year after purchase, still working. No humming or any of the other issues that have been previously noted.

Cons: Only came as a mono and in search of a compatible bi headset.

Other Thoughts: I wish newegg carried more products similar to this and offered more info on compatibility.

Pros: This phone worked great for the work that I was doing at home.

Cons: The mics had some static on the line but was tollerable. Used the phone for 1 week and the phone quite working. It had no dialtone, which cause me to missed a day of work.

Pros: Sounds great, Was easy to setup.

Cons: There is a litlle buzz on it

Other Thoughts: Great phone. Very easy to use very simple. I have gotten use to te buzz I dont even know its there unless I pay attention to it.

Pros: It works as a phone.

Cons: There is a buzzing noise that is constant. The closer you get to electronics, the worse it gets. Unfortunately I work out of a home office and am always on one of my computers.I have to mute my phone in conference calls to avoid others from hearing the static.

The mute button is right above the on/off button so it's easy to accidentally hang up on people when trying to mute.

Headset itself is just barely loud enough to hear people clearly.

Other Thoughts: For the price I never would have expected this kind of an issue. I would not recommend or buy again

Pros: no external power required

Cons: annoying buzz/hum in the microphone. I ordered a replacement headset after a few years and buzz remains.

I've noticed that the cord on the headset is poorly insulated so the more wires it is around the worse the buzz gets. If it is well away from any cords it is bearable. The mute button "clicks" too which is an annoyance on conference calls.

Pros: Just connect the phone line and go. I got it for my wife for work and she loves it. Reversible and over the ear options.

Cons: No ringer off, but she's on the line all day anyway. At the end of the day she just unplugs it.

Other Thoughts: Good quality and price. If you need a corded headset/phone this is a great choice.

Pros: No power required for it, long cords, simple design, nice big mute button.

Cons: Buzzing sound many have complain of, poor sound quality, very thin headset cord, head set is a phone jack, not 3.5mm, making it impossible to replace. No way to turn ringer off.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if it worked. Will try a replacement.

Pros: Excellent phone - great sound quality, lightweight headset, long headset cord, and small desk footprint. I use for my home office with Vonage, and its perfect for my needs.

Cons: Only nit-pick I have, I would like the headset holder-wire to be higher, so it does not run into the side when I hang it up.

Other Thoughts: My kids got ahold of this headset, and snapped off the plastic end. I have since fixed it with some CA glue, and it still works perfect.

Pros: Small, Headset is convenient.

Cons: LOUD 60HZ Hum in device. Awefully annoying. Effects conenctration on phone call. No Off for rigner. Cheap quality. 10$ Corded phones are better quality then this. I tried it at different locations with the same hum.

Other Thoughts: Platronics went cheapo on this device and then had the gull to charge over 60$ for it. Newegg should stop selling these things.

Pros: Good design, functionality. Serves its use case perfectly, with the huge caveat listed below.

Cons: Cannot turn ringer off, which is odd, but the biggest problem is the buzzing that results whenever the headset is anywhere near another electronic device. As others have mentioned, there is a non-stop, very annoying buzz which seems to result from some electronic interference in the microphone, as the buzzing goes away completely when the mute button is engaged.

Other Thoughts: If you attend lots of conference calls where you're mainly just listening mutely, this is a perfect device. If you plan on doing any of the talking, however, be prepared to tolerate a persistent, annoying background buzz.
