Other Thoughts: This solved a niche problem for me. We dial into a voice bridge that allows customers to use VoIP or POTS. The previous wireless headset on VoIP sounded bad, but OK on POTS. The description says noise cancelling, I say, the only noise cancelling this headset provides is if you sit in a dark padded room and don't breathe. This thing picks up every bit of background noice! Very irritating. It has clear voice transmission, however, if you need this for business, and need it quiet in the background, do not buy it! Other Thoughts: Earphone is very small, and the headset doesn't feel as though it's going to hold up for very long, but we'll wait and see. Did you find this review helpful? I've tested many different headset systems and the S11 just works. Used them with Cisco, 3Com, and Avaya phones in three companies so far Cons: Cord connecting to the system to the phone could be about a foot longer. Tone, speak volume, listen volume, and mute features work great. Great price. Comfortable. Appears to be compatible with just about any phone. Cons: Instructions assume a phone with no headset jack. There are no instructions for installing on a phone that has a headset jack, but it was easy to figure out. In this economy all of us are trying to save money especially us small businesses! comes with base/amp I would give this 3.5 eggs Cons: Cheap...no I am not talking about cost again. I have had many o'headsets -mostly plantronics and this is probably their bottom of the barrel headset. the mic boom sits away from your mouth and it feels like people can't hear you. it can't be adjusted to be closer to your mouth. it does have adjustments on the base unit. I popped the ear piece off which just snaps off and two tiny wires that could have easily been snapped off are hanging out now. (it is made to be snapped on i am assuming). Other Thoughts: it is the cheaper plantronics and it does what it is suppose to do. if you have the cash buy the more expensive ones (not the s12 though) I had the wireless one at my old company and they are great.
