Cons: I used to have older model of under the ear Plantronics headset and I loved it. I bought a new headset and have nothing but problems, Sound quality is bad, people I speak with all complain on Big Echo and that hear only every other word. Exchanged this set for another set within 2 days and replacement set has the same issue. Constant crackling in the ear and echo and inconsistent sound quality for the opposing party. Wouldn't recommend it to NO ONE anymore.

Pros: Very light weight. Good sound quality both transmit and receive.

Cons: A little difficult to put on with a reverse over the earpiece.
Can be a little uncomfortable if worn for several hours.

Pros: Adjustability, length of cord w/ clip, features (volume, mute, & extra adapter plug for use w/ cell phones, ear fit

Cons: I really can't think of any cons. I know some may think that it should have been made a little better by making it stronger & more durable but to do that would mean making it bulkier & heavier of which most will not like.

Other Thoughts: Haven't had any problems with it yet & am very satisfied.

Pros: My trusty Creative Fatal1ty's mic gave out after two years of abuse. Since its speakers still work for media, I figured I'd go for a lighter single-ear headset. I've got a deep respect for Plantronics after my call center years, so a little hunting brought me to this little gem.

Decent audio quality, pretty comfortable. Fitting only took a moment to figure out, even without instructions. Nice to see a headset that doesn't nudge up against a pair of glasses.

Plugged right in after getting it, ran it through some recorder trials to tweak the volume levels, no issues at all with the USB adapter on Ubuntu 10.10. Speaker's a bit weak and grainy for my tastes (definitely not made for music), but the mic quality was top notch as expected from Plantronics.

Cons: Note the past tense in that last line. Mic suddenly dropped to near inaudible levels within four hours of unpacking. Checked on two other computers and fiddled with the output switches to be sure, it's pretty much dead.

Other Thoughts: The 2.5mm-USB adapter is the silver lining. I had an old 2.5mm Jabra hook collecting dust and somehow remembered it when the new headset's mic died. While the adapter might not have been the intent of the purchase, what I ended up with works great.

Regardless of the failure, I'm only knocking 2 eggs. Plantronics makes some awesome gear, Newegg shipped with a quickness as usual, and I still ended up with something usable out of the deal. Can't fault a fluke.

Pros: Was hesitant about the weird under-ear way to wear it, but it actually felt pretty good and secure.

Cons: The mute switch simply didn't work. Was always off mute, no matter the position of the switch. The switch looks cheaply made, so no wonder it failed. Can you imagine being off mute when you think you're on mute?

Other Thoughts: It's a pain to pay for $9 RMA return shipping on a $29 item when it's not my fault I was sold a defective product. And since this is a replace-only product, I'll just have to hope the next one's cheapo switch works and lasts awhile.

Pros: * We have two of these, my ears are medium sized my wife are pixie tiny. Fits both of us comfortable for up to 4 hours.
* Incoming sound is crisp and clear with no distracting crackling highs or lows
* Microphone sound is of very high quality.

Cons: * none, for the price.

Pros: lightweight. Universal. Inexpensive.

Cons: uncomfortable, the earpeice is backwards from other designs, the things that fits into your ear is too big, too hard and after a short bit of time too painful.
I could hear ok (not excellent) once I got it on but everyone i talked to complained that all they could hear was the fan I had in the room which was 10 feet away.
A complete dissappointment.

Other Thoughts: I wear a plantronics headset all day everyday at work. I will only wear the PLANTRONICS H81N TriStar at work. I love it, and will pay for them myself if necessary for the quality and comfort. So, I was expecting the same quality and comfort from Plantronics on this. It was a serious disappointment.

Other Thoughts: +after having tried over 10 headsets this is THE best for VOIP. i use it on skype and yahoo.
I am sticking to this brand from now on.

Pros: Great sound, both coming and going. It really does handle wind noise well. No batteries, no charging to be concerned with. Comfortable, (but see below). Easy to put on and easy to adjust the voice tube, and it stays where you want it. Mine has proven durable.

Cons: It is wired, if that would bother you. I find I have to change ears after a couple of hours or it becomes a little uncomfortable.

Other Thoughts: I bought this same headset but without the USB adapter. I use it with my cell phone when driving and occasionally with a cordless phone at home.

Pros: Good quality microphone an earpiece. The earpiece and microphone both rotate so that you can use this on either side of the head. Comes with USB and 2.5 mm jack so it can be used with mobile phones or computers. Works with Vista and the VoIP app that I use (PhonerLite).

Cons: None that I can think of.
