Nice Phone
- Pros: Nice display and easy to use - battery lasts a long time - the picture caller ID feature is nice - easy to view from across the room who's calling if you have a picture associated with the CID. Pretty easy to set up and the quality of the voice on the handset is good, no interference, and good range. For the price I paid (not from new egg - much lower elsewehere - it's a great deal for a cordless phone that has a digital picture frame. Heck, you can't buy a digital picture frame for the price I paid and was available from many vendors for near that price. We wall mounted in the kitchen.
- Cons: No speaker phone - but I knew that when I bought it - the picture frame size is a bit different than standard digital photo so you have to do some cropping to get it to fill the frame - or you have some black bars that fill the frame beside your picture. The display on the handset is a bit small to read for my eyes - I can see it but have to look closely.
- Other Thoughts: For the first of it's kind - this is a great phone - some minor changes in the handset display, using a standard display size or auto cropping your pictures, and adding a speaker phone is all that is lacking to make this 5 stars. A bit larger display would alwasys be nice however I'm not picking on it considering what it can be purchased for. Neweggs price is ridiculous for this - you can get it for less than half what it's offered for here.
