5 out of 5 eggsPlantronics M175C Headset - Good Buy

Pros: Used with a cordless phone. Perfect clarity, loud volume, microphone matching in the plug. Inline volume and mute very easy to use.
Shopping for price will bring a low price and likely free shipping.

Cons: Using for home office with average of 6 hours a day, this model tends to wear out in about 8 to 9 months.

Other Thoughts: Seller delivered on time at the agreed to price. Product was packaged well to prevent shipping damage. Would buy from seller again.

4 out of 5 eggsHighly recommend, good sound and useful!

Pros: I have had two of these. I use this almost exclusively when calling from my landline. I will sometimes use it with my mobile phone as well. The sound is good, the mute is awesome, the fit is great with the over-the-head strap. My wife gets a little annoyed with it, but we are both active people and this lets us do things around the house (cook, clean, type, etc.) while on the phone. Sometimes, to skip the shoddiness of in-game chat, I've just called my game-mate and talked on the phone.

Cons: Unit #1 eventually started getting a lot of static. I think this is because I used it so much. I had a home office, and was on the phone at least every-other-day. I think it lasted 3 or 4 years under this kind of usage.

Unit #2 started with problems after only 2 years. The mute switch is now incredibly fickle. But I use the mute at least once every call. Basically, if I'm in a meeting and not talking, I mute. I'm hoping this is a fluke unit. I'd hate the think the quality has deteriorated.

Other Thoughts: I will buy another. This is the ONLY corded headset out there that I can find that has a mute and inline volume. These two feature make this awesome. I've tried bluetooth headsets and they suck, period. The mechanical handset lifter is incredibly lame and the range is the typical BT (i.e., horrible). BUT I use this with a cordless phone much like the Plantronics CT14 (mine is an old Radio Shack phone).

Again, for $30, I'll buy another. Then I'll rip this one apart and see if I can fix the mute switch. It must be something simple like a worn contact...

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Light & small

Cons: The sound quality is rock bottom poor. This gets used on a cell phone, and our conversation is basically "can you repeat that please". It also is not comfortable (too loose). AVOID. Buyer beware.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: I am using these on my Panasonic KX-TG6445T, I have Vonage as my phone provider and these headphones work as expected. Doesn't matter if the call is National or International, everybody can hear me clearly and I also hear them exceptionally well also.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: -Comfortable enough to wear for a few hours
-Mute switch, not a button
-Adjustable volume and mic
-No one can tell I'm using a headset on the other end of the line

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is the second one I bought after my first developed a cut in the wire after a year. I use it for every call I can now and got my wife hooked on it even though she thinks it's dorky.

The mute switch is a lifesaver during presentations so I can multitask without to hold down a button.
