Take part in the liberation of France during WW2 at the forefront of the Allied breakout from Normandy. Play through the realistically rendered battlefields as an American, British, Canadian or Polish soldier in four single-player story modes. Utilize the authentically modeled weapons of your nation in addition to the tanks and vehicles of that military. Semi-destructible scenery and battlefield sounds will have you ducking for cover behind rubble and vehicles as the enemy gets your range.

The control system used in Call of Duty 2 returns and you can lay down covering fire or bring your rifle up to use the sights to make a precision shot. The realism extends to the smoke grenades which can be used to cover your advance as well as the ability to pick up enemy grenades and throw them back.

"Cook" your own fragmentation grenade to keep the enemy from returning them. Engage in close-quarters combat where you'll need to shake your Wii Remote to defeat your foe or you can simply smash him with the butt of your weapon. Take full control of tanks and jeeps to crush your enemies under your treads or mow them down with the vehicle-mounted weapons.

3 out of 5 eggsFun 5hours

Pros: Fun FPS, playing with the wii remote is easy to adjust to. Good cut scenes, lots to weapon to play around with.

Cons: You will always have a 1 minute long cut scene before starting each mission, even when you've saved your progress and want to load that mission to continue, you'll still have to watch the same cut scene. The interactive controls on certain parts that requires you to move your wii remote is very annoying on certain occassions, this is the list of why it's annoying:

-wii remote is very unbalanced when it comes to driving the jeep, i have to turn my wii remote to the right side just to get the jeep to temporarily move straight (like having unaligned tires)
-some parts requires you to plant a bomb and pull out the trigger to start it, I pulled out the trigger exactly as it told me but I have to pull it out 20 times before my wii remote actually did anything.

The bad wii remote control is why I gave it a 3, but as the game itself is not too bad.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a fun shooting game that doesn't have pointless/unnecessary parts that require interaction with wii remote, I suggest you play a different game.

3 out of 5 eggsRent it

Pros: Fun to play, somewhat realistic, graphics not bad for Wii.

Cons: Very short game, I beat it in 5 hours. You can't skip drama scenes, which gets annoying. Weird controls. NO MULTIPLAYER.

Other Thoughts: The game is very fun, but is very short. i recommend renting the game for like a week if you don't like playing the same levels over and over again. The video scenes can be enjoyable but they still get old after a while.

3 out of 5 eggsNot that great :(

Pros: Good sound, realistic smoke effects, point and shoot controls are fun. Lots of missions.

Cons: Bad framerate at times, clunky controls with grenades, etc., NO MULTIPLAYER, CAN'T SKIP ANY CUTSENES, EVER! Bad save system, ai is not fun to fight against. Boring extras. Atmosphere seems to be the same every level.

Other Thoughts: I'd skip on this title if i were you. If you are a huge COD fan, or like WWII stuff... rent it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Game

Pros: I love this game. It's very fun and the controls are very easy to pick up. I would recommend this game to anyone.

Cons: The movie clips played between levels are a pain, you can't skip them and if you shut off the console you have to watch them again.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is awesome.
Buy this game.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Game CONTROLS ARE FINE!

Pros: "good" graphics for a wii port, very fun gamplay,AI is average, controlls are well done, and the vibbrations of the wiimote go great with gameplay.

Cons: Cinematics cannot be skipped even if you already saw them it gets annoying.

Other Thoughts: COntrols are well done dont listen to critics. Im not a big miiniegame or RPG game fan. But those seem very popular on the wii console. This is my favorite game along with Excite Truck but I think this one is a great game for shooter-wii fans.

3 out of 5 eggsOk?

Pros: Its a very fun game

Cons: Very confusing controls. Throwing grenades is way to hard to do, normally ending in my death! Also when you are watching the movie clips you cant skip or save, if you want to save you have to wait for the save points, and those aren't always after the 5 minute movies, so if you turn it off you have to watch it again!

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible port

Pros: none

Cons: this game was horribly ported to the Wii... the controls are clumsy and some parts which should be easy to pass on the 360 or ps3 version are next to impossible when using the wii. it really feels like they meant to port it to gamecube, then took 2 days adding wii controls before shipping it out

Other Thoughts: i've found most 3rd party games have horrible support for the wii, the control system is great if a company truly believes in it enough to support it properly

5 out of 5 eggsTOUGH!!

Pros: This game is tough! I love it! I really get into this game, the challenge it presents is exactly what I was looking for with the wii. I actually have to aim my rifle at my target, a challenge no fps has presented me with until this one.

Cons: The only con I can think of is on the first mission it did not do a good job of explaining use of the controller. Having the grenade throw motion switched off by default doesn't help either. Another problem I notice is that instead of going to press the "minus" symbol to pick something up while Im looking down, I press the left arrow on the 4 arrow keys. That makes me take out a grenade while I'm looking down and sometimes I can't react fast enough and throw it away so that I don't 'nade myself.

Other Thoughts: If you like challenge, this is for you.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: +Call of Duty on the Wii
+Story line is OK

Cons: +Horrible AI
+Horrible Controls
+Pre - Gamecube Graphics
+Not much detail on the worlds
+Game lags during intense moments
+No Multiplayer...
+No online yet

Other Thoughts: Its not worth the money to buy this game. I think this is the worst Call of Duty out of all of them. Campiagn isn't as good as the others and the controls are almost as bad as Red $teels.
