The WORST DBZ game EVER
- Pros: The colors look a lot better in this game than Tenkaichi 2.
- Cons: Did they make this game around those people who shot the You Tube Videos of themselves playing Tenkaichi 2? Seriously! This game is way to defence orientated. The game might actually have been fun if you could manage to pull off what the computer can do.
It took me a month to master Tenkaichi 2 but I never mastered this game because the controls using the Wiimote or way to clumbsy. Your character will never does what you want it to do.
The whole Potara system is lame. What good's a Z item if it adds to one skill but subtracts from another. Part of the charm with some games like Final Fantasy, Tenkaichi 2, is that you can make your character really strong with effort. This is called replay value.
This is the type of game you may play for a couple of week. Then you'll get really tired and upset with it. You'll find yourself releived of all stress when you quit playing it.
The whole 130 characters in this game is totally false. Goku's counted 13 times.
- Other Thoughts: This game was the final swirl around the tolite for the DBZ game series. I don't think Atari, Dimps and whoever else understood what made Budokai 3 so fun for the player. In reality, Budokai 3 wasn't that good of a game; the popularity of DBZ is what sold the game.
I think if Atari had made a better game, the DBZ game franchise would still be alive. Hopefully funimation will terimate Atari's DBZ contract and give it to someone else.
Interesting
- Pros: There are lots of modes to play in and lots of things to unlock and become champion of. You get to see many Dragon Ball characters and even get a Duel Option for two player. Like the tournament mode as well.
- Cons: The online play is horrendous and I would not recommend it. Everything runs in slow motion.
- Other Thoughts: Havent tried the nunchuck because I hate them. I can tell you the gamecube controller works fine though.
An Average DBZ Game.
- Pros: The graphics are pretty on par with the anime, one of the first online games on Wii, lots of characters.
- Cons: Online is HORRIBLE, and the attacks are extremely hard to pull off, even if you use the Gamecube controller.
- Other Thoughts: I got this game for Christmas last year. I was expecting an awesome DBZ game with good online play. I was wrong. All the online matches are horribly laggy, so its impossible to play them. I would personally rather have a game like DBZ Burst Limit for 360 than this. Better graphics, no lag online, more of the Budokai style.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 delivers an extreme 3D fighting experience, with over 150 playable characters, enhanced fighting techniques, beautifully refined effects and shading techniques, making each character's effects more realistic, and over 20 battle stages. In addition, an improved control system for the Wii allows players to easily mimic signature moves and execute devastating energy attacks as they are performed in the Dragon Ball Z animated series. |
