2 out of 5 eggsNot bad but lacking!

Pros: Fun game, good graphics.

Cons: If using a Wii rifle the controls are horrible! Pulling the trigger draws gun, then you have to reach up to hit "A" to fire. Wouldn't be so bad if you could customize the controls. I think I liked this game better on Playstation.

5 out of 5 eggsThis game made the franchise!

Pros: The control scheme is highly inuitive. I've played this game on other platforms and it just doesn't compare. Very smooth.

Gammeplay mechanics are amazing. The leveling system which takes place via gun upgrades is a lot of fun. And there are a lot of cool modes to unlock. Also like how they introduced a hand-to-hand combat system. No longer a simple shooter.

As for story, it is fun to see Leon again since Resident Evil 2 which was a childhood favorite and is a great backdrop for what's to come in five and six. This game seriously made the franchise.

Cons: Can't hold on to inventory. You have to be selective in the weaponry you cary. And quantity is based upon case size. Good because it makes you strategize and is realistic. So guess it depends on who you are. I like how in five you can hang on too your collection.

Other Thoughts: Buy it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Game

Pros: Great game that pushes the Wii limited graphics as much as is realistically possible. Controls are laid out perfectly. In the main game, you are American agent Leon Kennedy sent to rescue the president's daughter Ashley from all the zombies. On the way, you'll do battle with a number of boss characters until the ultimate showdown with head-creep Saddler himself. From time to time, the beautiful Ada shows up to help Leon but she has her own agenda.

The disc also has a number of bonus games to include "Separate Ways" which follows the Ada character. Another game, "Assignment Ada" puts her against a mini-horde with minimal weaponry. Finally is "The Mercenaries" offering the chance to just blow away a lot of icky creeps.

Cons: Like a lot of games on the Wii, can be a little on the dark side.

Other Thoughts: Bought this while purchasing Goldeneye. The game is dated but is a great play. Bought it a few weeks before Xmas and it took 5 or 6 days to receive...very reasonable but I'd come to be spoiled by Newegg's over-the-top delivery times.

4 out of 5 eggsa good version of resident evil 4 and one that's worthwhile then resident evil 5

Pros: the controls really work for this game. aiming has been much more faster and easier then before. when playing the shooting gallery game, i've been able to collect the entire collection of figurines as opposed to before where you'd use the gamecube controller.

it's much more fun playing with the wii remote then using the dual analog joystick like that on the gamecube or the ps2/ps3.

Cons: i wish there were more costumes.

i wish they make more games like this.

disappointed that resident evil 5 was not on the wii.

Other Thoughts: the graphics are last generation but it isn't about the graphics. what makes this game shine is the use of the wii's motion controller. this is why i didn't care so much about the graphics but the motion controller, which is far better and more fun then using the dual analog joystick. i played the original resident evil 4 on the gamecube and bought this version again to try out the motion control setup. i was not disappointed in the end result.

it sucks that resident evil 5 was for the ps3/360 as oppossed to the wii. it shows that capcom was about the graphics and if you play resident evil 5, you'll notice how empty the game feels.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: One of the best shooter games for the Wii. Comes in a close top 3 with a few other shooter games. I've been playing this game ever since I've gotten it delivered and I've not stopped. Been playing from September to present, and I've completed the entire game thoroughly. Unlocked every weapon, and played every save file to be showing the game cleared. Never ending enjoyment to come from this game.

Cons: Downside is the picture quality. It might just be me, but when I see the screen, I get these green and red spots. They're very sparse, but annoying. Other than that, this game is AWESOME!!

Other Thoughts: I've hated most games for every system. I even hated constantly hearing 'Resident Evil' this, and 'Resident Evil' that. I got to the point where I burst out yelling at the people discussing it to be quiet. Now that I've tried it, I can't stop playing it. I have played it so much, I've pretty much learned the game inside and out. I can tell you where every item is, how to get them, what stands in your way, how many people are in the room, how long you should take to get through it, etc. Basically I've succumbed to the obsessive state of mind for this game, and still love playing it. Never once have I gotten bored of the game. Especially since using the WiiMote Aimer instead of using a dialog stick. Makes the game SO MUCH EASIER. I highly recommend playing this game.

3 out of 5 eggsPros outweigh the Cons

Pros: Easy to use controls. Great gameplay!

Cons: Wish they'd make a gun that could be used with it. The Perfect Shot or Zapper cannot be used with this due to the button config in this game. The camera angle is difficult to work with most times.

5 out of 5 eggsPleasently Surprised

Pros: The game is a LOT bigger than I had anticipated. The visual effects even on the Wii were impressive and entertaining. They game plays like reading a good book.. its just hard to put it down. I found myself playing till 2am.. I had no idea it was that late.. The plot line, the story.. is excellent.. fun fun 1st person game

Cons: I actually bought it a couple a months ago. I popped it into the wii, played for a bit and got frustrated that I didnt quickly get a hang of the controls. But I guess that is like most games. When I finally played until I got the hang of it.. I started loving it. I actually played most of it with the Wii gamepad. It recommends the nunchuck, but I figured out the game controller easier. I switched back to the nunchuck later.

Other Thoughts: $19 for gong on adventure like this?? the game more than paid for itself. Give it a little time and you will get sucked in. I throughly enjoyed my time playing it.

5 out of 5 eggsRE4

Pros: WII Mote makes for innovative controls and shooting, having to aim at the screen makes the game more immersive and you feel like you're right in the action. Having owned RE4 for the ps2 i can say that this is a fun and vast improvement and i wish they had made this an exclusive. The graphics are the same if not a tiny bit lower than the playstation 2, but i hardly notice the difference. Everything else is the same as the playstation 2 version.

Cons: The game is HARD. I havent been able to tell yet whether it is because of the Wii mote use or they upgraded the AI, but i havent had a challenge from a game like this in a long long time. I expect it will be even longer than the ps2 version which took rougly 10-13hours to FC. I also have to contemplate the effectiveness of using the Wii mote during action scenes, such as shaking the remote left and right. It does not always seem to pick it the shaking of the remote, but this may be a line of sight issue between the sensor bar and the remote.

Other Thoughts: It would have been nice if they had included some sort of seperate content, something to make the game a little more fresh. And Idk why people are complaining about button controls, you can always change what does what in the options menu so quit complaining. The layout is perfectly fine with me and makes the game more challenging, which is what i look for in a game.
