FUN!!!
- Pros: What a great game! I've had my Wii for about 6 weeks now and this is up there with MEtroid Prime for playability. It is quite different though. THe hand to hand fighting is intuitive and overall the combat coordination is excellent. The Multi-player really makes this one of the most enjoyable games I've played yet. Nice graphics and sound, I don't run 480, just s-video and I'm very fine with it. I'll take good content over 1080 graphics anyday. I'm about 10% through, not really trying to get every item possible in about 5 hours of playtime.
- Cons: The overhead camera angle is sometimes constricting.
- Other Thoughts: The combination of the Lego with the gameplay keeps the mood light and funny and the fact the the dead just fall into pieces seriously reduces the violence level.
I love this game
- Pros: I've actually taken time off from work to play this game! It's addicting, especially if you've seen and enjoyed the Star Wars series. I enjoy being able to fight using the lightsaber as well as use the abilities of other characters. Special levels within each stage adds to the replability.
- Cons: The amount of levels is daunting and can be a turn off for those not in it for the long haul. I've completed 2 episodes and I've only completed 12% of the entire saga. Not to mention if you have to go back using special characters, you'll be at it for a while. There are some levels that require 2 players to beat, ie. fighting Count Dooku.
- Other Thoughts: Overall the game isn't too difficult, my 8 yr old enjoys playing it with me. She won't play it on her own, because some portions are a bit complicated to figure out on her own. It gets to be a bit of button smashing as you get into major battles, but that can be used to release tension! Recommend for ages 8-13 and 27-Yoda age!

- Pros: Fun kid game, requires some thinking and problem solving skills. Has a lot more levels to play than the Lego Indiana Jones and Batman games.
- Cons: No online play like PS3 and 360, but that might be more Nintendo's fault. Like some other Wii games the motion control through movement of the Wii remote seems to be lacking.
- Other Thoughts: This is just a collection of the previous two Lego Star Wars games from other systems. So you're not missing much if you already have those. A very fun game none-the-less.
What a piece of...
- Pros: It's Star Wars and it's Lego.
- Cons: Uh, Everything. It's almost impossible to control your character. Shooting is purely random. The camera is often in the worst location. The other characters get in your way, and may even push you to your death. The vehicle levels give you almost no idea what your objectives are.
- Other Thoughts: Near the end of the escape from Death Star level, there's a room where Stormtroopers continue to respawn. You have to build a door, but if you get shot, your building resets. And you're constantly getting shot. You can shut the doors on the Troopers, but by the time you close the second door, the first one is open again.
Awesome game
- Pros: My kids play this non stop. I like the fact that its not a short game that can be finished in a few days. There seems to be a lot of fun stuff here and it goes through every episode of the series. My boys, 6 and 3, love it. I enjoy jumping in and playing for a while as well. The cut scenes are very funny at spoofing the movies.
- Cons: Yes the camera angle in 2 player mode can sometimes be annoying but you deal with it, not a big deal.
The only real con is that I didn't buy this for the kids (who are we kidding, me!) sooner!

Building on the success of both LEGO Star Wars "block-buster" videogames, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga enables families to play through the events of all six Star Wars movies in one videogame for the first time ever Developer Traveller's Tales takes full advantage of the unique capabilities of all three next-generation consoles, while also adding new characters, new levels and new features. Players can build and battle this fall on the Wii, PLAYSTATION3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360 videogame system from Microsoft. Traveller's Tales is also creating an entirely new Nintendo DS version, developed brick by brick from the ground up.
In addition to new levels, such as Episode H's never-before-played high-speed pursuit of bounty hunter Zam Wessell, and new playable characters like Aayla Secura and Watto, the upgraded Character Customizer includes all Prequel Trilogy characters and expanded customization options for millions more possibilities, such as cross-Trilogy mash-up characters like Han Windu and Lando Amidala. |
Introduction
The Force is with you in Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. All six episodes of the epic movie series have been brought together in 36 story missions where you can play as any of 162 characters – rendered as Legos Minifigs. Journey through the worlds of the Star Wars Universe in a light-hearted romp that takes you from the Jungle of Naboo to the Forests of Endor with pod races, space battles and exotic planets in between.
Switch between characters from all of the movies as you continue your adventure. Other players can join or leave the game as you travel through the worlds and events of the Trilogy. Each character type has special abilities needed to overcome obstacles and enemies. Anakin Skywalker and his son, Luke can use their force powers to move objects and disable enemies or, they can disassemble their foes with their lightsabers – which you can wield using the Wii Remote. Princess Leia can blast enemies from far away while C3-PO opens a locked door. Disguise yourself with a Stormtrooper helmet to access forbidden areas.
Acquire golden bricks, minikits and other objects to build items needed to complete your quest. Puzzles unlock mysteries and you can roam freely throughout the bright, plastic worlds with iconic vehicles. With the addition of new levels, missions and abilities, The Complete Saga is, as Darth Vader says, "impressive. Very impressive."
