Super Monkey Ball Touch & Roll is the debut of Sega's monkey-fueled puzzle game that tasks you with collecting bananas on insanely twisted boards on the Nintendo DS. Though the franchise originally debuted on the GameCube, it has since taken to all consoles, much like a flock of hyper monkeys spreading out in the forest. This latest incarnation of the series finds poster boy AiAi and the rest of his simian buddies in a touch screen adventure that aims to keep the best elements of the series while making use of the DS's unique features. We had the chance to get an exclusive look at a work-in-progress version of the game to see how the marriage of monkeys and styluses is going.
Whether you're rolling through the 120 stages in Challenge Mode, getting up to speed in Practice Mode, or reviewing your glory in Replay Mode, you're sure to have a ball. All new Monkey Wars and Monkey Air Hockey join the roster of Super Monkey Ball favorites: Monkey Race, Monkey Fight, Monkey Bowling, and Monkey Golf. All party games support up to four players and allow you to play as either a boss or a normal player. If your friends don't own a copy of the game, use DS Download to play Monkey Wars and Monkey Air Hockey. By simply touching your stylus to the screen, you're rolling. This makes it easy for both new and familiar fans of the series to get in the game!
This review is from: Super Monkey Ball: Touch and Roll game
Pros: It has good graphics. Using the pen to play is fun. Favorite game is monkey wars, mini game.
Cons: It could have more mini games and when you play with one pack, 2 DS, wireless downloading it limits you to the mini games you can play.
Other Thoughts: You have got to try monkey wars. I can't wait to try it out with 2 game packs to to be able to play the other mini games.
