Action Adventure

Sonic brings his trademark speed and attitude to the Wii in his first solo adventure since 1991. In Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sonic finds himself in the colorful and vibrant world of the Arabian Nights tales. There he embarks on his most outrageous journey to date through an expansive 3D world brought to life with realistic water reflections, light bloom, and lifelike physics.

Sonic and the Secret Rings makes custom use of the innovative Wii remote to create a truly immersive gaming experience. Mimicking the energy and movements of Sonic, players actively perform specialized moves with the controller, bringing their stamina and wide range of motion into the action! Players will hurtle Sonic forward by rotating the controller from side to side and perform combo moves with a flick of the wrist. This, combined with a dizzying sense of speed, will quickly draw players of all ages into the action!

Fast, frenetic gameplay with Sonic in constant motion

Exotic settings and creatures inspired by the Arabian Nights tales

Branching paths for extensive gameplay variety and replayability

A variety of party games for up to four players

3 out of 5 eggsnot so great

Pros: good sense of speed.
Cool locals. Upgrade system adds some depth, to an extent.

Cons: THE MENU SONG makes you want to put a bullet in your head. dumb multi-player, little to no replay value. story is lame. No super sonic.

Other Thoughts: SEGA, plz make more sonic side scrollers!

5 out of 5 eggsSonic and the Secret Rings Wii Game SEGA

Pros: Great ideas implemented into majority of the levels, some of which have never been seen before. Fast paced gameplay and the need to react quickly enough to progress in the game at very first try. Great soundtrack.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Unlike the majority of "don't think at all" FPS games, in collaboration with such games like "lode Ruiner" this game title is what made gaming in the first place. Still, real tennis and golf can't be misplaced by playing videogames.

4 out of 5 eggsA good sonic game

Pros: Very fast gameplay, looks amazing for a wii game, upgrade system works well and is very customizable.

Cons: The menu song is AWEFUL and never changes, multiplayer is weak(no head-to-head racing like in Adventure2: battle).

Other Thoughts: Should definately check this out if your a big sonic fan.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid wii Title

Pros: Some of the fastest gameplay I've seen on the wii thus far. Innovative wii controls help Sonic make quick moves. Great multiplayer mini games that rival Wario Ware.

Cons: Controls take some time to get used to. Storyline can get boring, and I can't figure out how to skip it.

Other Thoughts: I've owned the wii since Dec, and this has been the best game that I've played yet.

4 out of 5 eggsSonic will Challenge you ^_^

Pros: Sonic is back and on the Wii!
Challenging Courses
Great Level Detail/Gfx: almost every level will have a curved path, or awkward twist. You need to pay attention quickly to get past upcoming barriers, you have to react quickly.

Cons: Controls can be frusturating in the beginning, but you get it and you move on.....Sonic doesnt like to stop haha.
Storyline is fairly weak and childish, but i can deal with that.

Other Thoughts: This is worth picking up if you want a game thats challenging.

I dont understand why this game has so many bad reviews, are people expecting a game they can wiz thru with no challenge?

whats the fun in that?

1 out of 5 eggsSonic the Let down

Pros: Sonic, and the cool wrist band that came with it. Good story.

Cons: Well where to start. It was a major let down in game play. you move forward, jump, attack, and collect coins.... Not to much skill involved in playing. Got very boring very quick.

Other Thoughts: So many options that you could have been followed on the wii, but little thought was put into the actual game play. Interesting story and if you're looking for a game to play on your wii, and have bought everything else.... THIS MIGHT worth the money to hold you over until the next good game

1 out of 5 eggsHated it

Pros: Sonic

Cons: I found the control of Sonic to be frustrating. The gameplay was very repetitive and can be very frustrating. I think I would rather buy the old sonic games if they release them on Virtual Console.

4 out of 5 eggsSonic!

Pros: *Great story
*Fun gameplay
*Tons on fun minigames

Cons: *Gameplay on story seems to be the same
*minigames aren't as fun unless played with other people

Other Thoughts: I really wanted wareio ware at walmart but they were sold out so I was disappointed, so I got this game instead (today). It is pretty fun witht hey story mode and slightly addicting (Almost has that effect like Legend of zelda).
