Yeeeeeee!
- Pros: Chrono Trigger is a great game, a video gaming classic, and it's at a good price here at Newegg. Some of the extras are nice touches, but you can play it old school display style too (the second screen merely acts as a display at that point)
- Cons: Some of the new stuff does seem a bit tacked on... but, they can also be deactivated too, or ignored.
as good as it was 13 years ago
- Pros: -added ending, more gameplay options
-ALOT more dungeons (Lost Sanctum, Dimensional Vortex) -pokemon like arena to train creatures for kicks. -revised gameplay options, touchscreen with better battle organization. -Some more creatures, some more items, weapons, and armor attainable in the new dungeons. -still the best rpg ever.
- Cons: -some of the new areas feel like it was rushed out to the market, not very fluid like the rest of the game's plot.
-i only wish it was neverending.
- Other Thoughts: i'd buy this game on any system it came out on as another excuse to play the game! AND i'd pay twice the price! great buy! Good Game.
- Pros: Faithful port of what is easily one of the greatest games of all time and a pinnacle of the RPG genre.
Truly epic storyline driven home by beautifully drawn graphics and a moving and resonant soundtrack. Some handy extra features like the "music box."
- Cons: Expensive for a port.
Some of the other extras like the Pokemon-clone monster arena feel like throwaways.
- Other Thoughts: A must-have for any RPG fan. A recent IGN reader poll of the best games of all time rated the original SNES game second only to Ocarina of Time.
