- Pros: Music games and the humor of the game.
- Cons: My GF and I just found it a bit too childish and annoying. I had to turn the volume down because the weird noises got to me.
Great Party Game
- Pros: Fun and easy, excellent game when you have lots of people (including adults) who are not familiar with playing video games. My wife and I played this for hours this past Friday night and laughed our heads off. A lot of great humor and entertaining vignettes packed into a series of TV game shows. Easy to learn each game so guests who are new to it can be just as adept as seasoned players.
- Cons: This is not a game you will use every day, by yourself.
- Other Thoughts: My teenagers thought it was a little off beat since they were expecting a Mario Kart game. Once they relaxed and stopped taking it seriously was when the fun really started.
Entertaining Fun and worth the Money
- Pros: 20+ different games. The idea is that you are programming a TV Station's show lineup. Each show is actually a different game that you must score a min. score at in order to include it in your "lineup." The Rabbids are INSANELY fun. So far I have not gotten annoyed by them. Considering the cost of Wii games, this one is fairly priced. It also uses the Wii balance board (which is nice).
- Cons: Some of the games are very similar to others in the game. I have a one handed Wii player in my family and many of the games require two hands to play (not a con for everyone). One great thing about the Wii is that people with disabilities like stroke or amputees can play video games now because of the Wii. Whereas with older gmaes that used a controller, it was difficult to impossible. Yeaaa Wii !!!
- Other Thoughts: Took it to a party at the neighbors. They liked it, but it takes a turn or two to score well enough on the game. It has a "Party" mode where it doesn't really keep score. It kind of assigns scores arbitrarily (usually the worst player gets the best score). The advantage (and genuis) that I saw to this was in a group of Alpha Males, it helps take some of the competitive edge off and allows others to join the game (up to 8 players) I hate losing, but it is hard to get upset when your score is assigned randomly.
