Sure Shot Rifle for Wii a realistic, surefire accessory that brings even more fun to Wii shooting games. The Wii Sure Shot controller accessory gives you realistic shooting action and improved aim.
Great peripheral. Complicated in game usage.
This review is from: CTA WI-NR Nintendo Wii(R) Sure Shot Rifle
Pros: Great feel, button layout, securely holds remote and nunchuck.
Cons: Does not realistically allow use of rifle sights. In game use for 007 Goldeneye very complicated and difficult (I look like a maniac to all the other players in multiplayer madly whirling about in order to orient my crosshairs). Out of the box trigger required a little fine tuning to make it reset consistently (not complicated: broke down the gun and shaved off some plastic - yours may work perfectly from the box).
Other Thoughts: Overall, happy with product for single player first person shooter game play. I grew up playing FPS games on computer and wanted something other than an Xbox/PS3 controller. It is not ideal for multiplayer use (unless you practice a ton). Also, the Wii does not do a good job of orienting the cross hairs to the remote, thus making the rifle sights pointless. For hunting, shooting, and rail shooter games this would be perfect, but FPS games not so much. Will add comments as I get better; after all, I can't blame my equipment for my poor skills. But I must admit I have awesome Wii nunchucking skills!
