Pros: Even my "somewhat high understanding" of technical knowledge was not able to find a problem with this game. I can understand why it has such a following.

Pros: Great game the kids love it. They have almost forgot all other wii games except guitar hero. I have just purchased a second copy for their friend so they can use wii speak. NewEgg Rocks, best prices, best service and some items ship free.

Pros: If you like games like the Sims then this is the Wii game for you. There's no real point other than to collect things and money and upgrade your wardrobe and house etc. It's light-hearted, EXTREMELY well produced, and has interesting connectivity options. You can import games from the DS version (Wild World) or you can use your DS to transport your saved Wii game to a friend's Wii system. Pretty cool indeed, but most people won't use that second option.

Cons: Not enough to do for a 'core' gamer like myself. Also, the NPC's are overly talkative, and thus the pace is kinda slow compared to what I expected. Wiimote control needs a tad bit of work, like when you're trying to pick flowers and you can't quite get the positioning right.

Other Thoughts: I bought Animal Crossing WITH the WiiSpeak for $40 on NewEgg, but they sometimes run it for $35. Elsewhere it's always $70 for both.

Pros: Great bundled price. I got this as a Shell Shocker and gave it to my younger brother (7 years old) for a birthday present. I like playing with the game more than he does.

Pros: It was $35... $5 more than a stand alone Wii Speak. If I don't like the game I can sell it and have a Wii Speak for sub $15...

Cons: : Although characters can speak, it's in Nintendobabble. Not only useless, but annoying. To play the game, you MUST be able to read, an read well. So don't buy this for young children. I know adults who love this game, but the graphics and situation seem targeted at pre-teens or younger. So who is the target user? Impossible for kids below 3rd grade. Older kids, who can read the text and understand the occasionally difficult words, might think the graphics, situation, and dialog too childish.

Other Thoughts: I wish I had the review I just read this morning. I would not have purchased this game. I totally agree with the Cons above. I have no use for this game. I plan to return it.

Pros: I have not played this game, but my kids (14, 10, 8) have enjoyed it thus far. Some of the reviews offered on this game caused me to postpone this purchase, but then with NewEgg's sale on it once again, I was pursuaded to try it.

I was not disappointed.

Cons: The "chatting" sounds are rather annoying, but then again, all I have to do is walk out of the room!

Other Thoughts: For the price, you can't purchase this game used at your favorite game reseller at the mall for what NewEgg has been offering it on sale.

Pros: Cover is attractive to children - should help reading skills.

Cons: Your child needs to be young enough to enjoy a children's game but old enough to read novels. To do even the simplest things in this game you have to read page after page of unnecessary chat from NPCs and follow directions immediately. I got this for my 4 year old and she cannot even participate. We tried just picking up things we found and quickly filled our pocket and have no idea what to do with the stuff. Every time I turn it on I am immediately forced to read pages and pages of repetitive dialog that cannot be skipped over.. all before you can take a single step

Other Thoughts: It may be a good game but I don't have the patience to play a kid game for hours to figure it out while my daughter complains that she can't play.
