Pretty Sweet
- Pros: I felt like a little kid, but I ordered this game anyways around Christmas. Pretty speedy shipment for around Christmastime too.
Anyways, I love the graphics. I like most of the new Pokemon, and it's very addicting. I've logged in over 50 hours on it already.
- Cons: I'm having some trouble getting used to the new Pokemon--back in my day we only had 150 Pokemon! Lol
- Other Thoughts: So maybe the attacks take a while to finish, but that's only because of the great graphics they managed to put in there.
Also, I feel a little lost at times about where to go next, but using online walkthroughs help. Really great game though.
great game!
- Pros: This game is great. There is so much more to do now even after beating all the gym leaders. I continue to find new things about the game everyday.
- Cons: Gyms are a little lax in difficulty.
- Other Thoughts: I highly recommend this game. If your a fan of pokemon then you will love this game
- Pros: Full of the good ol' pokemon fun from Red and Blue, bringing back lots of nostalgic joy. Feels significantly longer- but not tediously so- than any Pokemon game yet, too... though that might be a con to some folks. More than enough wifi bells and whistles to satisfy pretty much anyone- some of them seem excessive and wasteful, but most of them are useful at least once. Use of the touchscreen for combat is intuitive, if a little slow some of the time.
- Cons: Battles are slower than they used to be, probably due to the increased graphics for each and every move. Sure, it's kind of interesting to see something when you use a move, but that something shouldn't be unskippable and take a full ten seconds to end. The new generation of pokemon are, as always, significantly less interesting than the previous- which is saying something, given that the previous generation were more than a little boring.
- Other Thoughts: I'm not done with it yet (surprisingly), but so far, I've been satisfied. A few things I would've liked to see fixed weren't, but overall, I'm glad I got this game. Lots of nostalgic fun, though I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wasn't hugely into the original craze.
