Pokemon: Soul Silver Nintendo DS Game Nintendo

Pros: I experienced lots of nostalgia and fun playing this. It was kind of challenging. The graphics were completely overhauled and it had amazing 3D. It played nicely and fast on the first DS. I definitely recommend buying SoulSilver, even if you've played SGC.

Cons: Shipping completely messed up. It got sent to a wrong address and I couldn't recall it. However, I still got it as I asked the people who lived there for it. Don't use Egg Saver as a shipping option.

Once you have to challenge the Elite Four there isn't really anywhere you can train except on the Elite Four themselves.

Pros: 1. National Pokedex so you'll see all 400+ Pokemon
2. 40 hours+ For the main quest and countless more for catching,evolving, etc.
3. Gym Leaders, Rival, Elite Four, and Team Rocket Bosses are much more challenging which makes level grinding unecessary and strategy more important.
4. Call system lets you fight against previously fought trainers
5. You can transfer pokemon from your GBA games(sapphire, ruby, emerald, fire red, green)

Cons: 1. 8 HM's force you to carry 2 gimp pokemon for much of the game since nearly every area/route requires at least 2 or 3 HM's to progress.
2. Bill's PC doesn't let you deposit and withdraw pokemon on one menu.
3. Without playing the original game I can imagine people getting stuck when "looking" for the pokeflute.
4. 400+ different pokemon but you will still fight trainers with 6 magikarp, 6 rattatta, 6 pidgeys, 6 geodudes, 6 zubats, or 6 koffings.

Other Thoughts: For those of you wondering about the pokewalker. Here's a few things you should know. You take a pokemon from your pc box and transfer it into the pokewalker. Every step is an experience point. You can catch 2 pokemon on your stroll and find/store 3 items, each done through "minigames"

1) You can only level up your pokemon one level at a time this way. Thus you can't level grind very fast with the pokewalker since you'll have to continuously transfer the pokemon back and forth so that it gains the level.

2) The pokemon will not learn moves or gain stat changes when it levels up. You can essentialy create a level 100 pokemon with the base stats of whenever you started walking it.

I would highly recommend buying the game used if you think the pokewalker is useless. I will tell you this though., As far as pedometers go, none will look as amazing as the pokewalker. Also finding items through it that can sell for a high price early on in the game really helps.

Pros: great game entertains forever wifi functions are great plus has the pokewalker

Pros: Awesome game, awesome detail. Way different things like diamond / pearl - platinum. I think it's pretty sweet your first pokemon in your party follows you around :P

Cons: Knocked off an egg because newegg doesn't ship to po boxes so I had to buy from Best Buy : /
Also some pokemon are too big to follow you and your character looks so lonely :(

Other Thoughts: Pew Pew

Pros: Remake of one of the best games ever made, fantastic visuals, can be played with or without ever using the touchscreen feature (excluding Pokeathalon).

Cons: Can't even think of one...well maybe one...I could've been erm...hanging out...with a lady friend, but I played pokemon instead. I regret nothing.

Other Thoughts: I'm so in love with this game! I grew up with the original Silver version, and I bought a silver DS Lite and this game to relive my childhood. Both of which came from newegg, of course. Already have 15 hours invested in it, I'm sure I'll have no problem hitting 100!

Pros: If you are used to playing a first gen game, like yellow, or even a 2nd gen game, you will notice a good difference in graphics. They have improved a lot over the different pokemon games and look very nice. Game is very fun, and online play is great. Free pokewaker which can also bf.

Cons: No free figure (lol gamestop)
your router needs to use WEP encryption to work with your DS.

Other Thoughts: Great game, fun to play. You will love it if you enjoyed any pious versions of pokemon.

Pros: This game is a remake of my favorite generation of Pokemon, gold and silver. This game focuses on the DS, the touch screen, and has alot of cool features. One of the more noticeable features is the use of the Pokewalker. It allows you to walk around creating Watts used for getting items and such on it. It also records steps in which you can level up your pokemon with. This game is very long, and I am far from done, it has the pokemon feel to it, and it will keep you playing it for a very long time. This also features new WIFI options where you can meet new friends with the WIFI Park, party sorry I forgot the name. Which has a timer, but you meet new people and can chat with them. This game is an awesome remake, as well as a smooth release, no problems on it, and I have been loving it so far

Cons: My only con is that the pokewalker has to be exactly in a right spot near the cartridge to sync up, not much of a con per say, but it makes me try it a couple of times before I can complete it. One more con that is not too bad, but annoying, is the time limit in the WIFI area, and that you can only use premade text chat.

Other Thoughts: This is a great game for any pokemon fan, or anyone who loved gold, and silver. It is a must, and you will surely enjoy yourself with this one!
