Features
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D takes the Nintendo 64 classic – one of the most critically acclaimed games ever made – and returns it to the Nintendo 3DS system with the added depth and realism of stunning, glasses free 3D visuals. In this game, Link sets off on a legendary journey through time to stop Ganondorf, the Gerudo King of Thieves who is seeking the Triforce, a holy relic that gives its holder ultimate power. The graphical upgrades and three-dimensional depth breathe new life into the expansive world of Hyrule. An improved and intuitive interface, coupled with the easier navigation offered by playing in a world with 3D visuals, give players better control as they solve puzzles, travel through time and explore this immersive world. Whether you're a first-time player or a regular visitor to Hyrule, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is a new adventure for everyone.

FEATURES:

A Zelda classic now in glasses-free 3D
Amazing 3D visuals and a complete graphical overhaul bring one of gaming's most beloved and celebrated franchises to life, putting the awe-inspiring world in the palm of your hand for you to explore whenever you like.

New controls using the Nintendo 3DS system's technologies
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D retains the analog control of the original with the Circle Pad on Nintendo 3DS, but greatly improves ease of use with a touch-based inventory system. Switching items has never been simpler or quicker.

Players can also use the first-person shooting (camera-controlled) feature utilizing the gyro sensor.

Note: To enjoy the 3D effect of Nintendo 3DS software, you must experience it from the system itself. All screenshots and videos on this website have been captured in 2D mode.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome title

Pros: It's Ocarina of Time with better sound, better graphics, and 3D. What's not to like?

Cons: Controls a bit funky, especially after years of playing the N64 and Gamecube versions.

Other Thoughts: You can't own a 3DS and not have this title.

5 out of 5 eggsLoZ Ocarina 3D

Pros: Incredibly high quality remake of an amazing classic. The 3D brings a new sense of involvement to the puzzle and fighting aspects of the game. Many of the items, such as hookshot and the bow, use the position of your 3DS irl to know where to fire. The graphics and some of the designs have been upgraded, which is a fresh breath of air when compared to their N64 equivalents. There are small changes but it has kept nearly perfect to the original plot. Overall this is a great upgrade to a classic game and opens the door for new generations to enjoy it.

Cons: The controls can be a little touchy, which isn't a big surprise when going from a full N64 controller to a touch screen and the simple 3DS buttons. The use of the 3DS to aim certain items can be inconvenient and awkward at first. Overall the plot can be slightly complex, so a guide can come in handy.

5 out of 5 eggsA must buy!

Pros: Everything

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you already played this game on the N64 you have to buy the remake, if you have never played Zelda Ocarina of time you HAVE to buy this game. IF you`re like me and you start it playing Ocarina of time back in the late 90`s but never finished it you HAVE to buy this game.

Pros: Besides it being one of the greatest video games of all time, I am not sure there is anything that can top that.

Cons: Other than the fact that I can get my friend to give it back to me, there isn't any lol

Other Thoughts: UM HELLO MCFLY, ITS FREAKIN OCARINA OF TIME IN 3D!!!!

Pros: I was glad to see Nintendo brought back Ocarina of Time. Now my son is enjoying the same game I had a ton of fun with when I was a kid!

Cons: none... like I said, this is an all time classic!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's Zelda, that's all you need to know. Played this in the 90's on N64, played on the Wii as a downloaded title, and now playing in 3D on the 3DS.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: If you've never played this you must be living on the moon.

5 out of 5 eggsHow did I miss this?

Pros: - It's Zelda!
- Good use of the auto-stereoscopic 3D.
- Touch screen controls.
- Improved Water Temple (easier).
- Totally revamped graphics.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: By far my favorite game for the 3DS and by far the best Zelda game in existence. Even if you've played the original N64/GameCube version you need to play it again on the 3DS. It's the same game but a whole new experience. The auto-stereoscopic 3D doesn't improve the game play but it makes you feel more a part of the world. Oh and it also includes the Master Quest (ie. hard mode).

5 out of 5 eggsProfoundly wonderful.

Pros: Graphically improved, and I like the touchscreen more than the original menus. I always wanted a portable adaptation of this title as I'm sure many others felt exactly the same.

3D is icing on the cake.

Cons: Gyro-based "looking" (first person camera) makes gameplay in public a little embarassing.. I wouldn't enjoy using this function on a cramped bus!

Other Thoughts: After a while I decided to use 3D Mode only for boss fights or special scenes, partly to preserve the "Wow!" effect throughout the game.

The gyro-enhanced first person view was what made me start turning 3D off during gameplay at first. Whoever decided moving the stereoscopic 3D display's angle of view often during gameplay would be really cool, has done more harm than good in my opinion. I really don't like refocusing my eyes nor the akwardness of keeping the distance just right. This particular interface element of the game isn't an outright requirement to play it though, so it still gets the 5 eggs.

This may be just me, but I think Nintendo should keep the whole "physical movement while mobile gaming" theme to a minimum or to specifically themed games, kind of like AR Games or FaceRaiders which I would never play on a bus.
