5 out of 5 eggsGreat 3DS Game Selector

Pros: After all the previous bad review I was hesitant. But what the heck since it was FREE after MIR. My son, who's 6 yrs. old, and he never had a game to reset on him Just sit in the selector like you actually using a single game. One of the best purchase I made in along time.

Cons: Not really a con considering the price. The switch for switching between games recess in a bit. On the good side you can't accidentally switch the game.

Other Thoughts: Not having to having to carry around 3 games and ensuring a youngster remember to put the games back into the proper package and misplace it before starting the next game...PRICELESS!!!

5 out of 5 eggslove it

Pros: very smart idea

Cons: only comes in black

Other Thoughts: works great. I thought this would just be a cheap silicon holder for the games but it is nice strong but soft plastic. you can actually put 3 different games in and use a switch like a A/B/C swith to change games on the fly

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little gizmo.

Pros: Alright, there's been a lot of flack regarding Memorex products, since 99% of them are very cheap.

Bought this for a buck off Newegg, even if there's been some negative reviews for this item. I've heard people say that the device does not sit still inside the 3DS and if it moves, it will freeze the current game (due to loss of contact between game and handheld).

Anyways, after messing with it for a bit, the item is really neat. I had one for my GBA so I bought this for nostalgia reasons, and it works the same. You plug in 3 games, have a little switch to manuever between the 3 games, and then just plug it into your DS/DSi/3DS etc.

It slides in fine, although it's awkwardly pushed in. I think the reason for the constant loose connection and freezing most people have is because they do not hear the VERY faint click that the device clicks in. Just like the regular game cartridge, this device pushes in and locks in. The click though is very faint, and once it sits in, sits still.

After playing Fire Emblem: Awakening for an hour or two, I have not had any freezing issues due to losing connection.

Cons: The only cons are that it's a bit hard to slide the actual device in the main game slot on the 3DS, but I'd rather have a tight fit than a loose fit.

Other Thoughts: Great if you can grab it for cheap and you're on the go for a while. Don't have to grab games and throw them in your pocket, just plug it into the device and go!

1 out of 5 eggsPoor product

Pros: was on sale - $0.99
support all kinds of DS games

Cons: Poor contact with console. The smallest movement of the selector will cause the game card to disconnect from the console.

Other Thoughts: It works perfectly if I am not touching it.

1 out of 5 eggsNeeds work...

Pros: It's nice to be able to easily switch between games without switching cartridges...

Cons: While playing my DS, this device continually fell out of the cartridge slot. What this meant of course was that every 5 or 6 minutes, my game would shut off, and I don't even want to think of the damage this might have been doing to my DS...Would be better if the company had created latches on the device to latch onto the front of the DS as well to keep it from falling out of the slot...
