Pros: Fun, interesting mechanics, fluid movements in FP perspective, looks like you are playing a Progressive Insurance commercial, stylized cutscenes

Pros: This game is among my top 5 games, I always go back to it after months of not playing it just to get a quick fix. The graphics are good but simple and without life but that's what you find on the roof of sky scrapers anyways. I think the game has amazing pacing. It has a great feeling and it almost feels real especially when you plunge into the void.

Cons: The campaign is actually quite short, but I don't mind at all. Its not a game that will have you stuck for weeks, but its definitely a game which you'll come back to after months of not playing it. The game also might get a bit annoying when you get stuck at some points and have to play the same part over and over until you figure it out. Strictly linear gameplay however the second playthrough is rewarding because it has a better flow.

Pros: Mirror's Edge is a fast-paced action title that makes use of some incredible agility. The core mechanics are somewhat reminiscent of Shadow of the Colossus where you generally have to figure out creative ways to get closer to your objective (however, for newcomers or people who don't want exploration to slow down gameplay a "runner's vision" can be activated to allow a player to see what objects you can pull stunts with).

There aren't enough good things I can say about the game. The graphics are stunning in their own way, each level is very thematic with strong color use, and the controls feel intuitive although wall-jumping is a little sloppy.

Cons: Unfortunately, Mirror's Edge has a fairly short campaign mode. However, there are speed trials available for every level and certain sections of levels. Also, because the core of this game focuses on running and movement, the shooting mechanics are bare-bones (although you often won't have a gun anyway and you get a trophy for completing the game without shooting anyone).

The only other big problems are the lack of real boss fights (only one fight in the game resembles a boss fight) and the ending that might leave players feeling cheated. However, the ending does fit right within the story's theme.

Pros: Great game overall. It's only $10 plus free shipping! It has "buy me" written all over it!!!

Pros: Like the other guy said, it has 3 E3 awards for a reason. The graphics and environment in the game are excellent. Get this, it has a storyline that makes sense and the music actually FITS the GAME!!!

Cons: Run, jump, turn, jump, run, run, turn, flip, slide, vault, slide, tumble, run.

You'll be doing a lot of that.

Pros: This would have to be my favorite game for the Playstation 3. The graphics are amazing & the game play is pretty realistic. Don't really need to know much about it to play. Mostly just urban running with some hand to hand combat and little fire arms through out. Well worth $20.

Cons: Mirror's Edge 2 isn't out yet :(
