It is an awesome game, but the song choice is merely adequate...
- Pros: Great gameplay, definitely better than the original Rock Band for PS2, that was a disgrace. Also, there are 83 songs!
- Cons: The song choices they made were not all that good. Yes, there are 83, but there aren't any actual good, melodic rock songs. For example, if they had more songs like "I Think I'm Paranoid", then I'd like the game a LOT more. Also, on a side note, the calibration tool is a piece of garbage.
- Other Thoughts: The calibration tool in Rock Band 1 actually worked for me. The Rock Band 2 tool actually makes you do something, so you can only calibrate it for the wireless guitar, OR the drum kit, thanks to a ~80 ms delay for the guitar. -sigh-
Awesome Game
- Pros: Well, I am glad to say that I am very pleased with this game for ps2. Despite not having the online, and stuff, they really put forth a lot of additions to the ps2 game. They have added a world tour career, added challenge games, and much improved the whole game menus. It's basically the same as xbox/ps3 version, just without online access, and custom characters. I highly recommend this game if you only have a ps2 and love the music games.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: I didn't buy it off Newegg, but the game I bought had a corrupt file on Man In The Box, but I was able to get the CD switched out. I think it was just that CD. Anyways, I think this game is better than World Tour, but that's just my opinion.
