Dead Space 2 Playstation3 Game EA

Pros: Ordered this along with a new playstation 3, turned the lights out, pumped up the volume...and wizzed myself. Fantastic game once you really get into it.

Cons: Just kind of hard to follow the greatness of the first.

Other Thoughts: It's dead space... sit close to the tv, turn out the lights, and let your mind play tricks on you. its part of the fun and dead space experience.

Pros: Controls and graphics are vastly improved over the original Deadspace, especially traversing through zero gravity. Replay value is extremely high, I actually played it 4 times in a row on different levels, something I have never done with any other game. The ability to carry over all of your weapon upgrades, suits and cash from the previous game makes replay such a strong suit. I wish all game developers would do this, nothing I hate more than finishing a good game and having to start over with nothing!! Zealot was my favorite level, tried Hardcore-only 3 saves and weapons stripped of all nodes=too frustrating for me, good luck if you do it. I really appreciate the R3 button which shows you where the objective, store or bench is. There are so many games I waste a lot of time in due to being lost.

Cons: Not much, pretty close to perfection in my opinion. I was hoping the creature that never dies wouldn't show up, but he does, chasing you around in the later chapters. Bring lots of stasis packs. First one was probably a little scarier, Isaac didn't speak at all, he does a lot in this one.

Other Thoughts: I hope developers keep on making sequels to this series, lots of space to explore for Isaac.

Pros: I got this game for my girlfriend and she loves it. She is able to play Co-Op came with her friends online. Give 5 eggs for good price and good delivery.

Cons: Just beware of jumping babies with tentacles!!!

Pros: Awesome Game, Visceral did an amazing job with it, the environments and sounds, build a tension that make it easy to get enveloped in the game.

The ending is good in that it gives a sense of closure but still leaves the door open for future games. Unlike games that leave you in the middle of a story on some drastic cliffhanger.

Cons: Storyline is not as good the first one. Don't get me wrong it's good, but the first one is better in my opinion.

Other Thoughts: The story progresses in a seamless flow of chapters. There is no board the tram sequence and this chapter ends.

Also, there is a lot less backtracking. Neither a pro or con just an observation. Where as some points in the first game you would be running back and forth in the same area completing multiple task, this occurs much less frequently in DS2. It makes for a much more linear feeling game.

The whole your mom will hate this game campaign is right. This game is violent! The death animations push to the limit of gruesome, a couple of them actually had me staring at the TV jaw dropped, thinking, "This is insane." But at the same time it adds to the realism that makes this seem much more plausible and is a break from the obvious video-game cliche "his health ran out and he just fell down dead."

Pros: Graphics are very sharp. Atmosphere is spooky. You can aim your gun.

Cons: You just move along like a train on a track. Can't actually control where you walk or when. The story pulls you through and you just aim and shoot at monsters/zombies/whatever the game tells you to shoot.

Other Thoughts: Total waste of time if you want to control anything other than a series of weapons. They could have just made this a shooting gallery game and dispensed with the pretense of "3d action shooter." The production value is good but the game play is hard to even call game play...

Pros: Excellent game, just like the first. As stated before, comes with Dead Space Extraction, which is a nice bonus. Someone said it wasn't as scary as the first, but to me it's scarier than the first, so I guess it depends on who you are.. and none of that is a big deal or a bad thing because it's still a great game.

Be sure to play it at night in the dark as much as possible.. Played it a few minutes ago around 5:00 PM and it didn't feel quite right with the daylight coming in the windows.. and be sure to keep the sound a little above normal.. great audio to accompany the setting it puts you in mentally.

Great audio, great video, great lights, characters, weapons. Everything is great. Ya dig?

You won't regret getting this.. if you enjoyed the first one, and haven't bought this yet, what are you waiting for? It IS worth the price. Good long story that keeps you interested throughout and doesn't get too repetitive.

Get it.

Cons: I really have not found any yet. Only thing I can think of is the platinum trophy is named "The Final Frontier".. and if that means this is the last Dead Space, well that is pretty depressing.

Other Thoughts: The game gives you a refurbished Plasma Cutter from the first game; I do not know what is required to obtain this, whether it be having Dead Space data on your ps3, or beating the first, or beating the first with only the plasma cutter and having the trophy.. or etc.. I have not done any research, and I honestly do not know if it has any advantages over the basic Plasma Cutter, but an interesting detail.

Pros: This game still has an amazing atmosphere. The new monsters, weapons, and story fit well. Controls have been changed slightly from the previous game, and to me they seem better. There have been quite a few areas that got my heart racing like when the Regenerator chased you in Dead Space 1. Also, my copy came with Extraction, but I don't have Playstation Move so I haven't bothered trying it yet.

Other Thoughts: If you liked the original Dead Space, Amnesia, or Penumbra series then you will like this. The sound effects are amazing in this game, some of the best I've ever heard. Play this game at night with a nice set of speakers/pair of headphones and it will immerse you.
