4 out of 5 eggsWorks great on my HTPC

Pros: Works as a great input device on my Home Theater PC coupled with a $5 USB Bluetooth adapter I bought off of the web a while back. It's very light and thin and thus works well sitting on the lap while lounging on the couch.

Cons: Somewhat of an act of FAIL on the PS3. Of course you have to remember that there's no emulation what so ever for any of the bumper buttons (L1, L2, R1, R2) as well as no representation for the PS button (the one in the center of your PS3 controller that initiates just about everything.

I would say it's good for surfing the net on the PS3 but there's really not much you can do on the net on your PS3s browser that actually works. No flash support, sketchy Java support, so if you're like me and want to try and use your PS3s browser to watch Video then sorry but you're out of luck

Other Thoughts: I bought this device because it was on a one day sale for less than $30. Otherwise, there's no way I would spend more than $30 for this thing.

If you're wanting a keyboard to text chat with in-game then you're better off just buying a really long (depending on your setup) USB extension and plugging a regular keyboard into the front of your console. I bought this keyboard because A: it was so cheap and B: I knew that if it didn't work on the PS3 then I could always use it on one of my PCs moved into the living room. Turns out that it works great on the latter of the two options. You can pick up a super cheap USB bluetooth adapter on the net for less than $5 if you want to go the HTPC route. But again, I wouldn't pay more than $30 for this thing.

I really think this keyboard is listed at such a high price everywhere because it came out when you could still install and run Linux on your PS3. That's no longer allowed so this device becomes somewhat irrelevant.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent BT keyboard

Pros: Made for the PS3, it is best used with a PS3 but it will work with tablets, TVs, etc. If all you want is a KB for chatting or controlling media this one is great for that. If your looking for one for gaming I would say to look at other options. Great battery life but make sure you get the exact same type that came with it. It will burn through cheaper batteries. Good range, never had it disconnect on me. Decent build, never had any parts break but mine wasn't heavily used.

Cons: Loud keystrokes & the keys had a heavy sticky feel to them. The touch is functional at best. Looks & feels like a $20 keyboard. Although I never had any problems with it & nothing on it ever broke in the 2 1/2 yrs I had mine, the look & feel always bothered me.

Other Thoughts: I got the DiNovo edge to replace my Mediaboard Pro. Well worth the extra money to me.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Enough

Pros: -Long life (2 1/2 years and counting)
-Left/Right Click on both sides of the keyboard
-Great for hooking PC to TV and sitting across the room
-No lag

Cons: -Loudest keys on earth
-No Windows button
-Reset button's a little easy to accidentally hit (you have to reconnect the Bluetooth with a 10 digit code)

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent pc / tablet keyboard

Pros: Solid quality keyboard with touchpad.
I use with HTPC and with Acer Android tablet.
Easy to use without looking at keyboard while on couch or in bed for browsing, email, casual gaming.
Mouse buttons duplicated at lower left of keyboard - useful.

Cons: Somewhat expensive.
Heavier than non-"pro" Mediaboard predecessor.

Other Thoughts: I have tried a lot of wireless keyboards for htpc and the Logitech mediaboards are best for my use. I bought 5 of them.

5 out of 5 eggsBought in 2008, still good in 2011

Pros: Works great. I have used this as a tv computer keyboard for about 4 or 5 different systems now. Always pairs up quickly and runs great. The batteries are holding well and I only need to recharge them every month or two. Great feel and glad I got it.

Cons: Nothing really... I guess the touch pad could be a little larger area wise.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect for PS3

Pros: Keyboard Layout is Amazing, Scrolling option a plus!
I recommend getting this if you are a gamer that loves media.
Works well with everything.

Pause my game turn on the keyboard write a message in no time send and back to the game!

Cons: Could have had a way to get the the Ps Menu without using the controller.

Other Thoughts: It needs to have glowing keys for night time use i think it would be a nice feature.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I love it. I know it is for PS3 but it sure would be nice to have some shortcut buttons for windows, other than that I love it. Does just about everything I want to do. For the money...Great Buy!

Cons: The only con is I wish it had some windows functionality, then I would give 5 stars.

5 out of 5 eggsHTPC Awesomeness

Pros: This thing rocks for HTPCs. Has the connectivity of a wired device without the wires!!! Response time is awesome, no dropped characters when typing quick. Curser\pointers response is great.

Cons: Touch pad is small, but if you set up your pointer speed under your mouse menu it makes up for all that. Yes it lacks the windows key, but it wasn't made for a PC (alt-tab it)

Other Thoughts: Replaced this with a old nMedia keyboard with track ball. Was getting tired of all the dropped keystrokes and the buttons weren't responding. Was gonna get another item similar to this made by Gear Head, but was only 2.4ghz tech. Saw this and said "Why not give it a try" Since it was logitech and Gear Head's reviews were poor.

5 out of 5 eggsOne + years later...

Pros: STILL WORKS GREAT!!!... even after the occasional drop or two...tap pad is still like the day it came out of the box. Hell the whole keyboard works like the day I got it (ie. no dead keys or the like). Rubber pads still hold it nicely on my coffee table with no slipp'in and slide'in. Buying a 2nd one!! And oh yeah, 7 orders since this one and NewEgg still rocks!! :)

Cons: Other reviewers...No mention in the manual that the AA batteries should be 2200mA or higher (or your gonna eat through a ton of batteries when the ones that come with it die)

Other Thoughts: OK.....listen people STOP complaining about the lack of a windows key & such. You bought a keyboard SPECIFICALLY for a PS3 remember!!?? I use it for a pvr I built also yet I still read the ad that said it was designed for another purpose. Also PS3's have built in bluetooth so yeah of course you need a dongle if your going to use it for a pc that doesnt have bluetoooth. So far the gloss finish has not been an issue and I have remodeled my house myself so, if my dirty hands haven't marred it yet quit crank'in. Went through quite a few batteries b4 I figured out its the amperage.. I put in high amp rechargeables and now I replace them about every 5 months & I use this thing daily. Buying a 2nd one and I guarantee they'll be NO mention of a lack of windows keys in my review ;).
