Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Playstation3 Game Activision

Pros: Newegg's shipping was very timely. very satisfied. this game just makes me mad with the different programming issues in it. *fingers crossed for modern warfare 3* already reserved and paid for, just waiting for newegg to send it to me.

Cons: the game programming always makes me mad even on xbox

Pros: Great visuals, awesome game engine and a brilliant campaign. Vast array of weapons to choose from. Excellent map design.

Cons: Multiplayer has deteriorated to having an abundance of hacking.

Other Thoughts: The game is solid at its core, and that's why I love it. Very fun and very addicting.

Pros: Way better than Call of Duty 4! Infinity Ward really outdid themselves this time! :)

Cons: Apart from people online camping, nothing, lol

Other Thoughts: BUY IT! Or wait for Black Ops!

Cons: if your looking for the best war game ever this isn't it. very fun game if you CAN play it. the servers on this game is the worst i ever seen. if you don't have a 3mb connection or higher this game isn't for you. i run at 1.5mbs and i lag every time i play because of the IW and the servers that run this game.

1. need high internet connection
2. hacking is terrible
3. perks in this game are really unrealistic and some perks make you run through clays 24/7 which is really impossible
4. must have FMJ on this game to shoot through walls alot more often which is really stupid
5. Hard to connect to friends because of the nat type situation this game provides.
6. A LOT of glitches still and IW cant seem to fixs their own game.
7. idk if this is a con but more campers in this game then i ever seen.
8. a lot of boosters that play free for all to get up there guns, even in team death match so you can sometimes never even play when you find these people on here.

i cannot stress this enough that you need a 3mb or higher to play without a lag.

12. you run on the host internet since there is no dedicated servers

reason why i can stress this enough is because my brother in law comes over and we play on the same internet, we will get about 800kbs each. he cant kill a dang thing every time but when he is at his house with a 3mb connection, he can get nukes almost every time. LAG is a BIG part in this game

Other Thoughts: I bought it the night it released... stood in the line got it from BB (not sure why the full name is not allowed..too bad newegg)...and started playing single player first..completed it in may be a weekend...it was a little short.. but once i got into multiplayer..it just blows away.. This game is so awesome... after you play this.. you will LIKE any other game... trust me.. same thing happened to atelast 3 other friends of mine...we cant like any other game because none comes close to the graphics and quality of the game.. if only the single player was a bit longer..

Pros: 1) Fixes the grenade spam issue in Call of Duty 4
2) Spawn system is somewhat better than Call of Duty 4
3) Host migration system is a good addition
4) Fun private matches with friends
5) Graphics are okay

Cons: 1) Campaign plot doesn't make sense, is too short, and lacks replay value
2) Online has lag and connection issues
3) Maps are full of glitches and exploits and are designed for camping
4) Weapons and perks are unbalanced
5) Killstreak rewards requiring over 11 kills and higher are overpowered (sans the EMP, which is near useless)
6) "Private" matches aren't really private (people can join w/o an invite)
7) Host migration system fails to migrate the host about half the time
8) Collecting enemy intel is useless (no cheats)
9) Spec Ops isn't really worth playing
10) Poor matchmaking system
11) Pop-ups appear after killing someone

Other Thoughts: This game has a very addicting online, but the online contains game-breaking aspects such as Commando knifing, One Man Army noob-tubing, and (probably the most used "tactic" in the game) camping!

Pros: Dude it is rated MA, means keep the kids away. Mature Audiences means 17+. That means 10 year olds should stay off.

Main Story (Awesome)
Spec Ops (2 player is worth it.)
Online has less lag than xbox live

Cons: Veteran Mode: The bullets just magically hit you from nowhere. Could use some advise from MGS4.

Online Multiplayer: Because of the lag, camping, abuse of kill streak rewards, and the annoying fact that you have to hear other players mics even when you aren't using one I would have to say the online has little appeal. dedicated servers?
The xbox doesn't have the mic problem btw, but it does have more lag.

Other Thoughts: I would like to see the ability to have 2 players on 1 system being able to play online.
If the online lag problem is fixed then the game would be a lot more fun.

Pros: -Graphics is great.
-Music is great too.
-Great storyline.
-Weapons are fun.
-Missile predator is fun to use.
-Makes you really think during playing.

Cons: -Makarov wouldn't die although I hit him in the head point blank!

-Addicting

-Too much violence for young kids.

-Short game. Wish the campaign/mission is longer.

-Lag( PlayStation Network)

-People's mic is annoying. They are not clear, and you have to wait for the round to finish before you can mute them.

Other Thoughts: I can't forget how the chickens dance.

Pros: Plenty of customization
Fast paced
Rather up close and personal combat
Large variety of game types

It's just all around good, choosing your specific loadouts and unlocking new perks and weapons. It's very satisfying to get on a streak and to call in support, as well as when shooting down helis/harriers when somebody else calls in support.

The pace is good, you never find yourself in a boring spot with a "Where is everybody?" feeling. And really... it's just addicting

Cons: getting flashed by your own flashbang when you're not even looking at it.

It gets a little annoying with people using Lightweight+Commando+marathon, they have a habit of just kinda floating their knife into you. But you get used to it and learn how to deal with it.

No vehicles, but you get to fire out of a chopper/ac130 and use predator missles.

Fixed weapons are basically worthless

You sometimes find yourself yelling at the screen

stupid 12 year olds with mics. Fortunatly you can shut em up.

Other Thoughts: It is a must have for your collection. I basically buy games for the multiplayer, which is great on this game. Not a huge amount of players, but that makes it more competitive and personal. I keep hearing that the campaign is short, which idk... I guess it was, but why would you spend over 50 bucks just to play through a campaign?
