Good stuff
- Pros: Plenty of customization
Fast paced Rather up close and personal combat Large variety of game types
It's just all around good, choosing your specific loadouts and unlocking new perks and weapons. It's very satisfying to get on a streak and to call in support, as well as when shooting down helis/harriers when somebody else calls in support.
The pace is good, you never find yourself in a boring spot with a "Where is everybody?" feeling. And really... it's just addicting
- Cons: getting flashed by your own flashbang when you're not even looking at it.
It gets a little annoying with people using Lightweight+Commando+marathon, they have a habit of just kinda floating their knife into you. But you get used to it and learn how to deal with it.
No vehicles, but you get to fire out of a chopper/ac130 and use predator missles.
Fixed weapons are basically worthless
You sometimes find yourself yelling at the screen
stupid 12 year olds with mics. Fortunatly you can shut em up.
- Other Thoughts: It is a must have for your collection. I basically buy games for the multiplayer, which is great on this game. Not a huge amount of players, but that makes it more competitive and personal. I keep hearing that the campaign is short, which idk... I guess it was, but why would you spend over 50 bucks just to play through a campaign?
unmatched multiplayer
- Pros: After taking a week to get used to the maps this game has delivered the best online experience to date. killstreaks are nice although I dont think you should be rewarded for sucking. deathstreaks like pain killer are pretty dumb, its not my fault someone else sucks. Other than the map with the open field and the cave in the middle, all the maps are great. Much better weapon selection then the first warfare, silencers on sniper rifles finally, perks that allow for a noob tube and a red dot on the same gun or a red dot and a silencer, marathin is a nice addition. over all great game short campaign mode but very fun. Dont know where IW will go from here but i heard they weren't doing another COD. I heard they were gonna try and pull of a MAG style game which should be alot better then MAG.
- Cons: Spawning is bad which is the cause of all the camping in this game. warfare2 is by far a bigger camping game then warfare 1. due to the bad spawning. People dont like running down a street and a dude spawns right next to you or right behind you
Lag is also very bad on PS3 Playstation should take over the servers for this. not sure who the third party company is that runs the servers or if its IW, but for PS3 they are terrible. The 360 servers are far superior but i prefer to play it on PS3.
- Other Thoughts: Got my K/D ratio up to 2.02 right now after a slow start but this game is much easier then warfare1. set your kill streaks to predator, harrier, and pavelow and you'll be doing 30+ Kills a game, although ive only had 2 nukes since i dont use that kill streak, I'm averaging 30 kills a game with my highest of 50 in a team death match. to me the best weapon to use is the M4 with FMJ, and scavenger, stopping power, and commando. also use claymores and go crazy. look me up onlie so we can game, THE_RAlNMAKER the i is a small L
MW2
- Pros: Great single-player campaign, included old and new concepts.
Slightly improved graphics. Good controls and voice-overs. Lots of new weapons.
- Cons: Campaign was too short.
Graphics didn't look as good as the PC version which I've played. Should have better gameplay balance such as removing unrealistic dual-wielding in a modern warfare game. Some cheap unrealistic perk abilities like non-stop sprinting and magically warping to get longer distant melee kills. And the AI is still terrible like from CoD4.
- Other Thoughts: Some of you may or not know about IW/Activision's milking plan. I'll probably stop playing this after a few weeks, just as several of my friends have.
