Pros: Game itself is great! On co-op is awesome!

Cons: Mental case's manual clip is broke which is expected based on other review people been having other broken materials.

Pros: This is a great deal. The stuff the game comes with is cool, especially the metallic case... Not only does the case look cool, but it will probably also do a better job at protection than a plastic one. I bought this edition because it was actually cheaper to get this than the game alone.

Cons: The Chris figure is fragile. I had it sitting on top of my TV as decoration, it fell onto the floor, and it broke. It's probably why some people are also reporting it broken upon opening of the box. Oh well, not that big of a deal to me...

Other Thoughts: Extremely fun and surprisingly high replay value. One of my favorite games of all time, and one of the best looking games of all time. Probably the best looking multiplatform game to ever be released. Definitely worth the money.

Pros: The game is fantastic.

Cons: I recieved this game in a box with zero damage, I opened the box to find the game secured with paper but the box was smashed almost completely bent in half. The plastic around it appeared to be not factory either, I thought maybe since it was a collectors one maybe they used crappier plastic wrap or maybe some company did it instead of capcom or whatever. So I open the box and the figure is sitting in it's little container smashed into 5 pieces. There was NO bijuju necklace or BSAA patch at all. Only the bag, the game, and the busted figure. So ya... Newegg, I've never seen such reckless disregard for your ustomers as with this item. It was 100% for sure in that destroyed condition smashed up when you placed it int he box to ship and you didn't even care. I don't have the time to waste trying to send it back so I'm just going to eat this one but I'm extreeeemly disappointed in you and I will have to think twice about ordering from you in the future.

Other Thoughts: Well they either sold me a repackaged return thinking I wouldn't miss the items or care that the figure was smashed to bits or an employee opened it, took the items, and then repackaged it smashing the box in the process? I don't know, whatever the reason this is unacceptable in a huge way...

Pros: great game with very nice graphics, and also a great price since i got it for $48.70 with free shippng.

Cons: game seemed to be already opened with chris figure hand broken off and one of the tabs in the case was broken but was in the box and not the case so i would assume it was opened before, but can't complain for the price i paid.

Other Thoughts: collectors edition not worth the price if bought regularly other then the nice tin case.

Pros: Great game, fun when you have another human to play with. My friend and I played online and used our home phone for communication. Weapon upgrades are good and make the game easier as you advance. High replayability if your a trophy who re or like trying to beat your best time.

Cons: Computer AI is only good for reviving you. Not much fun playing by yourself unless you have unlimited ammo. Online vs. isn't my favorite.

Other Thoughts: If you have a friend that hasn't played it yet then you should give it a try in co-op. It's on sale for $44.99 collector edition.

Pros: Great Game, must have online and a friend with game (and communication) for the 5 star rating.

Cons: In game communication without headset or cellphones or whatever is avg borderline aweful. Pay 5$'s if you want fun online content that prolly should have been included with the game (300k download? That's less than a floppy disk with of new information!).

Other Thoughts: The collectors edition to me was worth it ONLY because of the metal case. In my mind, RE5 Limited Ed. cost 5$'s more than retail regular. Thus, the metal case was the 5$'s. Figure is aweful, bag is aweful. Metal Game Case is great. The limited should have been like RE4 where you got a laser cell of Ada and the metal case. (That's just my opinion). Without the newegg price, I would say buy the regular only, you're not missing out.

Other Thoughts: I am horrible at aiming and I don't like pseudo first person shooters or any shooters at that. But the blood, gore and violence is awesome! The collector's edition isn't worth the extra bucks, but the metal box is.

Pros: Game looks great, Plays just like Resident Evil 4. Your Partner AI will be annoying if you are not playing with someone else. One of the Main reasons to get this on PS3, is for free online.

Cons: I'm a collector, so I like my things to be flawless and mint condition. It seems the game I got was opened before, and re-shrink wrapped. Because the Manual has a Half inch tear, and one of the clips on the metal case that held the manual was broken, and outside the case. Only way it could've ended up outside is if someone had opened it.

I would RMA, but that will just be nitpicking...

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for Run and Gun gameplay, skip this, this is exactly like RE4 in terms of control, with strafing. I played this on xbox 360 first, the graphics is the same, only reason I got this for ps3, is because of free online play.

Pros: Extremely detailed graphics, rich sound track, diversity of weapons, and online/offline co-op for main game + side Mercenaries Game.

Cons: None To really think of, but the game may not be for everyone out there.

-Partner AI can be one track minded at times
-Difficulty ramps up quickly in higher end parts
-Quick Time Events (QTEs) can get anoying at times

-Doesn't hand me a Pepsi in the morning when I wake up.

Other Thoughts: I deffinately rate this as a 5 out of 5 game because of the graphics, gameplay, and the rich detail in the worlds.

This game will really grow on you and after completing the game 3 times i'm still having a blast with it. The Mercenaries mode is where it gains replayability. Leaderboards are updated almost hourly at times and it's fun seeing how you stack up against competition.

As to the game not being for others it doesn't have "Running and Gunning" which it was never meant to have. However this is deffinately a must buy for fans and for the others out there give this a rent.

It is deffinately action oriented depsite no running and gunning.

Pros: An entertaining game throughout. While it has its dings here and there I do not regret having played this game.

Replayability for at least a couple run throughs is pretty high with the ability to unlock features such as unlimited ammo and carrying over all your equipment from the last playthrough.

Cons: - Game is great, but the extras are pretty weak IMO, not worth the extra din din for the collectors. Really the game is all you need.

- What took so long for this game to come out? Only some many times I can play the different versions of RE4 (PS2 vs Wii).

Other Thoughts: - Resident Evil 4 a great game set the bar pretty high. 5 at least met those expectations but for me did not really exceed it by much.
Adding a second character definitely added some new life but the formula still remains the same. Which may or may not be a good thing. 5 for the most part felt more like a polished version of 4.

-I am pleased at the fact that the controls were pretty much left the way it has always been. Wah, Wah, we can't run and shoot.

You have never been able to do it before so why expect it now?

Running and shooting would completely change the game entirely and take away from the idea that this is a survival horror game. Otherwise they might as well just call it 'Resistance de Gears of Evil' and add bullet time and giant robots.
