5 out of 5 eggsGreat entry game

Pros: Great for people to start getting into fighting games, the balancing of the game is unique that since everyone's core mechanic can be cheap no one is truly broken. Fast paced fighting, great action, awesome learning curves and great fan service.

Cons: Its made by capcom so they are going to always try and milk it
no spectator mode
online is a little laggy at times, it is not so bad in ranked but in player is really annoying

Other Thoughts: People who usually cry about balance cant learn fighting games, every character is supposed to fight differently, but hey its a good way to spot scrubs such as most of the posters above me

2 out of 5 eggsexpected more

Pros: -great fighting game

Cons: -expected more characters
-only offline thing to do is arcade mode. there is no survival mode, or anything else. Just plain arcade mode
-unlocked all 4(!!!!!!) characters within 30 minutes of having the game
-basically capcom wants money for their dlc characters which is kinda bull when people waited forever for a sequel

Other Thoughts: dont get me wrong, this is a great fighting game. But the lackluster modes and only 4 unlockable (boring) characters are just not work the 60 bucks. Fighting is basically the same as MVC2 but with better graphics and 20 less characters. If you were a fan of MVC2 you will be very disappointed, if you aren't and you are just looking for a good fighting game, this is great for you.

3 out of 5 eggsNot good as i expected.

Pros: Not a good Graphic,Gamplay horrible.

Cons: As other player said gameplay balance was terrible and ridiculous. Some characters just too powerful 1 hit = others 3 or 4 hits.Gameplay moves like turbo and unlimit times to send out friendly asist to break down the super combo easily.

Other Thoughts: Should add more characters like Nero in devil may cry 4,Sheaver in Resident evil 5 to make more balance.

4 out of 5 eggsOn par

Pros: Same intensity, and computer got even faster and more difficult.

Lag simulation in the training is neat. Not sure if that was in MVC2.

Cons: Same old, same old. If you don't LOVE the series, it gets repetitive quick.

Other Thoughts: If you have a roomate to play with, it's incredibly fun.

4 out of 5 eggsLong time waiting

Pros: Game looks and plays great. Fans of prior entries in the series will feel right at home, with slight control adjustments from the previous title.

Cons: Aside from Arcade mode or online play, the game really does not offer much in the way of game mode variety.

Other Thoughts: This game has half the characters as its predecessor, however as you play it you will realize there is a better overall balance between all the characters versus the handful of arguably "useless" characters that was littered throughout the previous title.

3 out of 5 eggsbalance is horrible

Pros: Pretty, funny dialog, decent for casuals music's not the jazz abomination we got in MvC2

Cons: Some characters are way too button masher friendly (literally saw someone run their hand over their controller as fast as they could and got a 35 hit combo with dante. had a super been thrown in, it could have easily been 60+ for good damage), X factor makes almost anyone able to do 100% damage in a single combo.

Some characters (I'm looking at you Phoenix) take too much damage to be worth using while others are difficult to make decent combo strings for a basic launch and air combo series when compared to others. for example sentinel can chain his stand laser into his crouching laser and either launch or rocket punch after. anyone who's played mvc2 knows what comes after this. while iron man has very strict timing for a 3 hit BnB combo to launch at which point combo potential is more limited.

Roster makes me grimace. Hulk and She-Hulk, 3 resident evil characters 4 or 5 Street fighter characters...20 megaman characters - NO MEGAMAN.

Other Thoughts: I get the feeling capcom set this game up to be a way of milking the fans for another 20-60 dollars. characters that were basically required (how does a capcom allstars game miss the blue bomber?) have been more or less confirmed to be DLC giving capcom license to charge more money for things that should have been there in the first place. This game got almost nothing for play testing to check for balance it seems despite all the demos we saw. there's just no excuse for some of the things that have happened with this game.

I remember MvC2 showing up in the arcade at my college in early 2000 and even then I was ready for a sequel. it's a shame this was capcom's answer. MvC2 was obviously full of flaws, but back then they had an excuse. for what they charge for these games now, we should expect more and capcom is more than equipped to deliver.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's a tough call to make

Pros: Game play is simplified so anyone can play the game. Still takes practice to be great at the game though. The graphics are very nice. Not having street fighter 4's design BIG PLUS!!

Cons: I emphasize on how terrible the roster is compared to MvC2 you only have like 32 characters with 4 unlockables totaling at 36. Rest are all going to be DLC. Even though it's 36 most the characters are dumb except for the select few. They removed a majority of the the classic players from MvC and MvC2 leaving you feeling like you overpaid for it's short arcade mode and being able to unlock all 4 characters within 20 - 30 minutes

Other Thoughts: im a fan of then MvC series. I enjoy this game but didn't live up to the expectation after the second. It's still fun with some of the new features but for $60 bucks it's not worth it .I got it with newegg's sale for $50 it's okay. Game should of been $40 bucks from what I feel.

Pros: graphics, characters, Most Gameplay, NEWEGG!!!!!!!!!

Cons: The way switch charcters, simple mode, Final Boss< makes me >:-[

Other Thoughts: ok its new and awesume.... but looses one egg from me cause moves have been changed the way we switch out n simple mode P's me off....*just let button mashers have a reason*.... but all of that would have been OVERLOOKED if the boss Wasnt so G Da** easy.... i mean easier than mvc 2.... disappointing...
