Not quite what I expected...
- Pros: It's a half-decent one-player game, with a variety of weapons, and all of the usual action you'd expect from the Metal Gear series.
- Cons: See "half-decent". This really is a stand-alone expansion pack, and seems more geared towards online versus play. Also, the camera angles got irritating, and camera control was darn tricky when you're dodging bullets. The learning curve is a bit steep, but that might just be because this game was meant for people who already owned (and beat) Metal Gear Portable Ops, but wanted to "take it to the next level" with online play.
Easy Mode is five missions long, and Normal is roughly 10, so for someone who isn't as hardcore, this game is painfully shortlived, which might almost be a pro, considering the repetitious nature of the levels.
- Other Thoughts: No one I know owns this game, and I've never had the opportunity to put online gaming through its paces. The single-player mode doesn't feel like an actual game; there's no storyline whatsoever, and "missions" often consist of "spawn on a random map, and run from there to the little warp icon that gets you to the next map".
Okay game
- Pros: Alright game, not very much to do.
- Cons: Didn't found out until I got it that it was the "expansion pack", which for PSP's is pretty ridiculous.

Awesome Game
- Pros: Fun, addictive, perfect to tide me over till MGS4 release
- Cons: Stand alone expansion only, original game is a must buy if you are planning on getting this
