Pros: Patrick Stewart is the narrator, storyline is good, doesnt make any sense but whatever its unique. Gameplay is fun for the most part. A good dark game. I like it quite a bit.

Cons: Buttons can be unresponsive. Pressing dodge once doesnt mean youre going to dodge. Jumping is the same sometimes you have to hit it 3x+ to get it to work. Bosses are very hard but not impossible. You can go good distances between heals which gets annoying.

Other Thoughts: Fun game, more fun if you play it on easy. You dont have to die 3x to do any special thing, once, maybe none, good balance of fun vs difficulty.

some game controls mentioned during game play are off and not correct.
game has bugs and messes up at times.

the only 2 things that I really liked about this game was the graphics and the puzzles.

Pros: great game mix between syphany of the night shadow of the collosus and g of war 3 very challenging and the story is interesting love caslevania this is one of my favorites castlevaia 3,castlevania bloodlines and symphany of the night are the other 3 and this is the best since those buy it great addition to the series

Pros: Great quality game, a lot of the reviews on the net do not give this game the proper respect. The chain-whip battle system is very enjoyable and the level and enemy designs are great. The dialog is a bit over-dramatic at times....but personally i like it a lot. The ability to instantly choose to revisit old levels with your new abilities to access previously unreachable areas gives it replay value

Cons: sometimes the camera changes when you enter new areas catches you off-guard, and i personally did not like the titan boss-fights all that much (luckily they are short and sweet, as well as few and far between).

Other Thoughts: Overall i think this game deserves more credit than it is currently being given. There are far more throwbacks to previous castlevania titles than mentioned in any review i have read....and the mix-up of different enemies as you access new environments is straight out of the nes era. This is the first game i have played on my ps3 in a long time that i will be giving multiple playthroughs
