New ‘Blood Whip’ weapon The Blood Whip weapon is ranged like previous Castlevania whips. The combos can be strung together using light attacks that sweep across a wide area, and heavier blows that are more precise.
Void Sword and Chaos Claws These two weapons can be summoned by spending blood on powers. The first mode summons a large sword that rewards you with health for every hit landed, while the chaos strain gives Gabriel a pair of claws capable of breaking through enemy shields.
"Dracula's Blood" Magic has been replaced with “Dracula's Blood”. This resource can be channeled into the Void Sword or Chaos Claws. These essentially fill the function of light and dark magic from Lords of Shadow. The Void Sword attacks replenish your health, while the Chaos Claws pack a bigger punch and can smash through enemy shields.
