Amazing and True
- Pros: The controls are surprisingly simple, reminds me of "GoW" in a few ways. Unbelievably playable, and replayable. Even once you've completed the storyline you'll want to replay again and again. Fantastic.
- Cons: Clipping problems and lagging issues but I'm sure that's just the PS2 Showing it's age. I've seen this game on PS3 unspeakably awesome.
- Other Thoughts: Very good. Even with the graphical glitches on the PS2 Platform I had to own it for myself. If and when I upgrade to a PS3 I intend to rebuy this this title. Very worth it.
One More Reason PS2 is still going Strong
- Pros: This is one hell of a game. I'm a huge SW fan and an even bigger fan of the Dark Side and being able to just "unleash" utter havoc right off the bat made me eager to play for hours on end. The "starting" powers and a joy and you just want to mash the buttons over and over again. Being able to spend upgrade powers as you see fit, change outfits and customize your lightsaber added to the dynamics of the game. And even on the older PS2 platform it is very eye pleasing.
- Cons: Too linear...would it be such a bad idea to give this game a more GTA feel? More free roam and more destructable maps would really improve this games replayability.
- Other Thoughts: All in all this game was worth the wait. Apparently, after talking to a few of my friends who own it on Xbox 360 and PS3, it's a completely different feel on the other platforms...makes me tempted to buy and Xbox to just to play it again and see how much better it could be. As a matter of fact...I think I will:)

This entry in the Star Wars saga casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice", unveiling new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The expansive story, created under direction from George Lucas, is set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. Based on the next-gen game but containing unique gameplay designed for PS2, the game has players as this new mercenary villain assisting Vader in his quest to rid the universe of Jedi - and face decisions that could change the course of their destiny. |
