Features
In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the world was introduced to Darth Vader’s now fugitive apprentice, Starkiller—the unlikely hero who would ignite the flames of rebellion in a galaxy so desperately in need of a champion. In the sequel, Starkiller returns with over-the-top Force powers and embarks on a journey to discover his own identity and to reunite with his one true love, Juno Eclipse. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Starkiller is once again the pawn of Darth Vader—but instead of training his protégée as a ruthless assassin, the dark lord is attempting to clone his former apprentice in an attempt to create the Ultimate Sith warrior. The chase is on – Starkiller is in pursuit of Juno and Darth Vader is hunting for Starkiller. With all-new devastating Force powers and the ability to dual-wield lightsabers, Starkiller cuts a swath through deadly new enemies across exciting worlds from the Star Wars films - all in his desperate search for answers to his past.

3 out of 5 eggsStar Wars feel.. but comes up short

Pros: Graphics are pretty good.
Fun to change the color of your lightsaber.

Cons: Ultra-short story!!!!
same annoying bosses with same annoying fight tactics.
Not much freedom to move other than where the game wants you to go.
Cliffhanger ending.

Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money buying this game. I rented it and beat it in under 6 hours. If you are interested in seeing the game. rent it, otherwise you will be disappointed.

2 out of 5 eggsUnfinished

Pros: It looks really good. Graphics are pretty awesome. Story is decent. Great voice acting.

Cons: Not worth a replay. Everything was really buggy. Collisions didn't follow on some of the boss battles. Fight with Vader was boring. Targeting is still messed up. Respawn points are way too far apart and you have to reload whenever you die and watch the same in game cutscenes over and over again (it took me so long to beat the battle to clear the hangar because I had to rewatch the cutscene every time I failed). It ends on a cliffhanger when the game felt that it was just getting started.

Other Thoughts: Save your money and if you really want to get it, rent it because there is no reason to pay $50 for 5 hours of gameplay.

4 out of 5 eggstoo short

Pros: Its a good game. Fun to play. when you play you want to keep going and going and....see below

Cons: short...very short. why was it so short?

Other Thoughts: I gues i dont understand - it could have been awesome. the game play is fine - not perfect but fun. The worlds are awesome. The effects are awesome. Yoda level was truely lame. Why build all that just for a cut scean and a couple of upgrades. Some training would be nice - a little Yoda battle / training. The whole thing was way too short. 3 real levels. Rent it and save some money. If your a fan - play it its still fun. Just dont expect to keep it long.

Pros: none

Cons: This is a bad, bad game. Very short

Other Thoughts: Go somewhere and rent this before you spend your hard earned money. I have already stuck this game in the bottom of the pile.
You can rent it and return it all in the same day.

2 out of 5 eggsWay too short!!!

Pros: Improved gameplay and graphics. Force Fury, which super-charges everything is awesome. Dual-wielding lightsabers is again another plus. And that's where the pros end.

Cons: Way way way too short. As the previous reviewer stated, it took me less than 6 hours to beat the entire game on Medium which is absolutely ridiculous. I thought the first Force Unleashed was too short and this one is not even half that. The lightsaber customization has been overhauled forcing you to choose blade color based on power-ups since there are no separate power crystals anymore. Boss kill combos randomly change sequence making it more tedious to finish off the big guys.

Other Thoughts: I was really looking forward to this game and am sorely disappointed by it. The gameplay is better but still linear hack-and-slash style which tends to get repetitive and boring. The graphics in both cinematics and gameplay are awesome. However anything good than can be said about this game is overshadowed by the absurdly short length. I'm seriously talking no more than 5 levels! They need to recall this game wait until next year and give us the other 2/3 of the game. I would not recommend buying this game!

2 out of 5 eggsIt could have been great...

Pros: Overall fighting style has been, in my opinion anyway, slightly improved. Force upgrades and abilities have been simplified into one category (though I'm sure this is due to the fact that the game is SOOOO short that it would be impossible to unlock everything in the same manner as the original).

Cons: The story was pathetic, confusing, and agrivating. They made Vader into a joke, 75% of the time playing the actual game is spent fighting irritating bosses, and unless they intend to make a "Force Unleashed 3", the ending is ridiculously non-cannon.

Other Thoughts: I beat the game in less than 6 hours... It started off good, got bad fast, and never redeemed itself... The only reason I didn't give it a 1 egg rating is because there appears to be a challenge mode of some kind that gives you a reason to keep playing after you finish the horrible campaign. Don't waste your money. I'm not saying you should't play it... Just dont buy it. This is definitely a "rent only" game. I expect much better from Lucasarts.
